One of the girls I work with is taking a couple of weeks off - I am filling in for some of her days. She is having breast augmentation surgery.

I'm sure she will be in pain and uncomfortable after her surgery. I'd like to get her a card or something, maybe offer to bring over dinner for her. Just not sure what I should do.

This is something she has wanted to do for years. I hope this is really what she wants.

Maybe a "Thinking of You" card might be appropriate. Or, you could get a blank card and just write in there that you hope her surgery goes smoothly.

Thats a great idea. For a card, why not whip one up on your computer. Mine came with some basic home publishing software that allows me to choose a card without any writing in it, to add in my own note, or just a blank card all together, choosing clipart and your own words as well. Its more personal than a card from a store, you can say exactly what you want and hand pick the images you want to use.

I like the Victoria's Secret gift certificate. I don't know why I didn't think of that. In fact, I might get the other girls to go in it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Depending on what kind of sense of humor she has, get her a card from the newborn section "Congratulations on your new twins!" ;)

I think she would love it:teeth: She does have a sense of humor and is very excited about it. She is barely an A now going to small C.
