The most useless annual news story near where we used to live, happened in the evening news (6pm), when they had a live reporter on an overpass on the Friday night before deer hunting started. Ohh. Look at all this traffic blah, blah blah.
No, seriously, the traffic is normal rush hour traffic. I joked that they probably sent a reporter there on Tuesday to film that segment. (Deer hunters often take off the Friday to get to their hunting spots).
I would add "famous" to that list. Only because it tends to be used in a context of something that isn't "famous, classic or epic".
We lost a lot of restaurants during the pandemic here. I had one writer call one of them "famous". It had only been open 18 months, but sure how it could be famous. Now the one that closed two weeks ago after 87 years of operation and the same family running it, THAT was a famous restaurant.
