What wine are you serving with Thanksgiving dinner?

Ok, went to the state store today, and bought a bottle of Cupcake Pinot Noir, and a bottle of Mirrasou Merlot.

I'm thinking that I'll open the Pinot with dinner, and drink the other bottle before my family arrives....

Yes, definitely tell us about the Cupcake. I have just started to notice this around here.

I would LOVE to have some Bully Hill wine but I cannot find it down here. I need to look at ordering online. Boyfriends family is from the area up there and we went for lunch last July and did a wine tour with tasting. OMG! Fell in love with the stuff. Should have bought when we were there but they told us the sell in Florida.

I got 2 bottles of Pinot Noir. Estancia and Kendall Jackson brands. I can't wait to start drinking while cooking. No, I'm not as bad as Kathy Lee Gifford.

I had it at my SIL's last weekend...it's very good! When I went to the check-out today, the sales person said "oh, another bottle of Cupcake! people love this wine!"

I really wanted to get a bottle of Menage' A Trois, but it was sold out. Probably not a good wine to serve in mixed company anyway...

I've always served a beaujolais. Light, fruity and a slight chill. The nouveau is always fun to try!! I bought three bottles the other day. It's always interesting.

We always drink nouveau on Thanksgiving too.

I'm sure that Bully Hill will be one of he selections at my parents' house on Saturday. Many members of my family like it, especially Walter's Red. I think they buy it because of the goat on the label and not the contents inside. I'll be avoiding it. I don't care for NY wines. Give me a CA, WA or French wine and I'm happy. NY wines are too sweet for my liking.
