What Will You Spend Your Tax Return On This Year

Last year I thought we were getting about $3000 and decided to add a day at Discovery Cove to our Universal trip. Then I did our state return. We netted a return of about $140  .

It goes towards our car insurance bill! Last years insurance bill was $2700.00...that's one year... My share was only $600.00...her's was the rest!
my DD is 19 and in MA that means big $$! Maybe I better call GEICO! :rotfl:

I wish I was taking it all to go to WDW...like I used to!

DH wants to upgrade to a bigger saltwater tank, 312 gallon, {this will be his LAST upgrade}. So some money will go for that.

The money that is left will go to pay off some bills {house insurance and property taxes for the year} and be put back to buy stuff for the new baby as I get closer to my due date.

We were planning on using some of the money to go to Disney in June, but then we found out we are expecting and my due date is in July. No way I could make it around in that heat. I have a hard enough time with the heat here in Ohio when I was pregnant with DS and DD.

100% Disney vacation. We've already paid for the airline tix and half of the hotel so the rest of our vacation will be paid for with the tax refund (federal). We never get enough back from NY state to do anything with.

I received the state book and forms the other day and yay for me!! it looks like they made it more complicated to complete. I do my taxes myself, it's fun for some reason. I guess I like punishing myself in some way lol :)

Put it away somewhere to pay for next year's tax bill. This year, we'll get a big refund (unplanned -- we were on track to be about even when DW made partner), but only because DW's partnership "income" will be a loss for her one quarter as partner. Next year, different story.

On our trip to Stone Mountain. That won't use up much at all, so I'm thinking about just putting the rest away til DH and I can figure what we want to do with it.

If I get anything back I was going to put it towards bills but I may be saving it for a deposit and moving expenses instead. It depends on a few things.

Refund? HAHAHAHAHAHA?

We have no dependents and make too much money. Even with adjustments to our W-4 and 401K withholding last year, we are going to owe about $2300.

I use ours for our summer vacations, my daughters camp and new pool things for the spring ,filter, solar cover etc...

I'll have to split mine with the soon to be ex. But based on our normal return, I plan to buy annual passes for Disney and pay for my new family room furniture.

Between it and DH's bonus check (keeping my fingers crossed), a trip to WDW.

We're talking about using the rest to pay off one of the cars and paying off a loan we have out.

Refund, they actually give those. It seems that they always have their hands out for more when I get around to filing. Maybe this year will be different but I am not holding my breath. :)

If we get a refund, it won't be enough to really "do" anything. We strive to break even (or as close as possible) on our withholding - I don't like giving the government a free loan for the year. ;)

We really want to fence our back yard. I just hope we get enough to do it. We live on little over an acre. It would be so nice to let the dog out and not worry about her running off.
