What will you celebrate? My 2 trips to Disney. Lots of Pic.

Well for 2009 I celebrated two different things. First off I celebrated NYE at disney that trip was 3 nites from Dec 31- Jan 3rd. My second trip was to celebrate my 21st birthday, trip was Aug 3rd-7th..

A little background.
My name is Mike I am 21 and from a small farm town in South Jersey. I like disney alot and was born in Florida so I have been going to disney ever since I popped outta my moms belly. When I booked my August trip the CM said there are 23 trips under my families last name..WOW!! I love to travel, and meet new people. For my senior trip a friend and I went to Holland that was what made me fall in love with traveling. A year later I went back and stopped off at Germany as well. As soon as I graduated highschool in 2006 I started working at a metal shop, it was a good job an good pay but nasty work. A little after 3 years of working there I got laid off so now I am on workers comp. During both these trips I had a girlfriend, we dated for almost 3years but, we have recently broke up.. I wont include her in the trips just to respect her and what not.. Sooo now you know a little about me..

Ook the NYE trip..

Well I left NJ about 6am and made my way to Santee, SC where I was booked at the Best Western. Of course we stoped at the empty South of the Border.. This place is funny so it makes the trip fun.. Haa

I made it to the hotel by 3 o' clock and by 5 I was eatin at Shoney's and it was really good. I had a blackend chicken and rice pilaf dish that was yummy. I also want to say that the Best Western here was VERY nice.. Big rooms, nice bathrooms, comfy kingbed, VERY clean free wifi, and free contential breakfast. Rooms are around 70-80 a nite.. Heres a pic of my food.

The next morning I ate my free little breakfast and was on the road to Parrish, FL.. We stopped in Georgia and heres a nice woods shot.. It was a nice stop so I hadda take a few pics...

We finally reach FL and stop at the welcome center, I grab my free OJ a few booklets and head out..

So I got to my grandparents an stayed here for about 5 days. During those days we went to this Big Red Barn flea market by Sarasota and it was a really cool place.. Plenty of shopping, good eats, and a bar.. Nice stop.. We also went to Anna Marie Island, Holmes Beach.. This is one of my favorite places in FL, my family has rented out this big beach house here and it was great!! We also got a ride in my grandpa class Mustang... Vroom Vroom... Yes now I know I am back in FL...

Well no1 bothered to say anything but, Ill do an updates anyway.

Well I left my Grandparents around 6am. Stopped at Mcdonalds on the way. Got to our home at the Caribbean Beach by 8:30.. So I checked in went and parked my car by the room. And hopped on the bus to Epcot.. If I didnt mention it, today was NYE(Dec 31st). Epcot was pretty packed, 1st thing we did was head straight to WS and hop on the ride in Mexico..

Its hard to see but, there is a goofy bush.. Goofy is one of my favorites!

So I was a little hungry so I made my way to Germany to get a pretzel.. WOW I never waited over 30 mins for a pretzel. The line was so long it was practicly out of the pavillion.. Either way the pretzel was yummy.. Had a hard time finding a seat..

So while eating my snack I got the call saying my room was ready. So I rode the Maelstrom real quick. And headed back to CBR..

On the way out got this shot.. Like my elbow in the pic. Ha

So I got a king bed room on the 1st floor in Trinidad North. The room was in a great spot..

Next up its NYE so I gotta find a park to party at for the nite.. Hmm which one to choose.. Hint, it was open till 3am that nite..

You must not be using Photobucket to post your pictures. Our company blocks Photobucket so I usually just click through the Trip Reports until I find one where I can see the pictures. It makes for such a better report when you can actually see who's posting and where they've been.

Hey Kindra thanks for coming in. NYE was a blast in Disney, and by Jan 2nd pretty much everyone went home making crowds very low. It was just really fun to be there on NYE and to be part of the big party. My next update will be tonight or tm morning. It will be NYE nite and I got a few cool pictures. Thanks again for stopping by..

Hey Lynn, I use Flickr to host my pictures. I never liked most of the other sites.. I agree on the picture thing, Its the only way to enjoy a trip report.



On a side note, looks like in a few days Ill be booking my next/1st solo trip. Jan 28th-Feb 2nd at Port Orleans Riverside is what I belive Imma book. I am SOO excited.. I even made my ADR's..

What fun to be able to spend NYE at Disney! How did you like the Caribbean resort? I only got a glimpse of it on the bus on the way to BWV and it looks so peaceful.

Hey heaven2dc 1st off thank you for the comments and for coming in. I loved CBR, it was quite peaceful. Even tho its one of the biggest if not biggest resort in disney it doesnt feel like it. I hardly saw people walking around, tho the buses do get full. They almost come back to back. I can only say great things about it. I would recomend it to anyone..

Sorry Its been awhile everyone.. Lets see, when I left off I was leaving Epcot and heading back to my room to unpack and get lunch. So I got a king bed room on the 1st floor in Trinidad North.. Room was great and in a great location.. I headed over to check out Old Port Royale and it was real nice in there too.. I got a personal pizza for lunch and it was yummy.. I also made reservations at Shutters for the next day and grabbed a Choco Soy Milk for breakfast the next morning.

Ok so I checked out the park hours and since it was NYE night DHS was open til 3am so thats where I headed... It was a nice big party there for sure.. Had plenty of live music and dancing everywhere. Of course they had plenty of fireworks at midnight.. Rode a few basic rides but mostly rode Toy Story Mania, I rode it 4 times in a row such a fun ride.. Also ate some chicken nuggets at the AbC commissary, enjoyed them aswell... Also the Osborne lights are GREAT..Not too much to add just had a good night... Heres some pictures...

Just got back yesterday and also saw the Osborne Lights.
Awesome as usual.
For those who remember when they used to give FREE 3-D glasses, they are now selling them for $1.00 and they are not worth it. They don't show detail like old free ones used to.
Not worth the money.

Well today was a mixed day.. I broke my laptop today so I lost all my pictures.. Ive got them else where just gonna take a few days to find them.. I hadda dig out an early 2000's PC from the garage to use..

One a good note I ment a nice young lady on dis dates tonight...

Im gonna finish this report soon, So I can do the good one, my bday trip..

Ill be able to get everything back.. And my ex gf still has every picture so I could bug her for them too.. All I really have to do is go on my mom's facebook and goto my ex's page and save all the pictures from there..
