What will you be buying your pets for Christmas?

On Black Friday we got Elvis & Nemo these really nice memory foam cat beds and we gave them the beds early. They didn't like them, they prefer to sleep in cardboard boxes, or the laundry basket :confused3 So we returned them. They did get a new water dish that's a continuously-flowing fountain which they both love

From the looks of our current cat tree, I see a new one in our future. It will be a late Christmas present in January though. They will get some new mice and some of the wand type toys to tear up as well.

My mom always saves the ham bone(with quite a bit of ham still on it) for our dog. He is not big on toys, but he LOVES his ham bones.

Older dog (10 year old pekingese) has NEVER played with toys, so she is getting a new bed and blankie and a stocking full of different treats and bones.

Puppy (10 month old Yorkie) is a toy FREAK, so he is getting the stuffingless (is that a word?) fox and his stocking will be filled with little toys (he is a little guy) and some treats.

Kitty (6 year old former "feral" cat) doesn't do toys much either, so she is also getting a new bed and blankie (she loves to cover herself up) and her stocking will have a couple of catnip toys and her favorite treats.

The "family" gift, I decided yesterday, will be the water bubbler. Water all day and the puppy and kitty will LOVE this one!

For our dog (who also deserves coal), a new bed (pillow) that I found at Petco yesterday for $7! (originally $29.99). It even matches our kitchen!

I also got a new toy for him, and a large rawhide bone.

The cats got a new scratching pad, the one that supposedly acts as an emory board on your cats nails. The dog got a 10 pack of socks so I can make her favorite toy, "socky" which is a tennis ball tied into a sock. She goes through the socks like crazy.

My children are so spoiled! They got a new bed, refills of frontline and heartguard, 4 stuffed/filled bones, about 10 toys, collars, greenies, treats, waterbowls, etc

A dog Snuggie.

I'm serious.

:rotfl2:

It was kinda a joke for the family, but in actuality, my short-haired dachshund, who is soooo fond of blankets, will probably use this! If not, it's a good $3 laugh.

I was tempted to get one of these too! I bought them anew blanket for their bed,and a pillow. I forgot about the pillow. My lab does not like to sleep if her head is not on a pillow! lol

My cats are getting catnip toys and treats in their stocking from Santa. I'm always stumped on what to get the lizard. Last year he got a gift card for petsmart. This year I don't know yet, but Santa wont forget him.

I got my dog a Zhu Zhu pet (the one called Nugget). She loves chasing it around the house (supervised of course).

My 2 cats get a pack of treats each and a 3 pack of jingle mice to share. Grandma also got them a pack of treats. Santa will put cans of tuna & egg cat food in the fish shaped stocking. I also got them a green bag that says "toys" and crinkles when the cats play in it. I gave that one early.

I got my mama's dogs chew toys. Kelby gets a reindeer & Ginger a penguin. They have stuffed heads and their body is stretched out around a circle rope. They loved stuffed animals.

I got our two Bichons a laser pointer and gave it to them early. Lacey will chase it to Hell and back, and Ollier dog looks at her like she's got issues.

I also bought some of that moist dog food in the can-they usually eat dry.

My mom got the cat one of those electric water fountains and gave it to her early. My mom was so excited and set it up, put it down and the cat looked at it backed away and ran out of the room. She is scared of it. My mom said it will probably cost her $100 a month in electricity and the cat will probably die of thirst since she wont go near it.

My mom now put out a regular bowl of water and turns off the other one when she is at work and says Snickers drinks out of it when it is not turned on.

She also got her treats for her stocking

My three (in sig) will be getting some "fancy" treats and toys. Winston has already sniffed out the PetsMart bag and has been begging to play with it all now.

My brother's dog, which was a foster of mine, is getting a harness, treats, and two rope toys. Oh, and a baby gate so he can graduate from crate to the kitchen.

My mom's cat is getting a full stocking of cat toys and three little mice with catnip.

I'm such a sucker - all family members, even furry ones, get Christmas gifts from us.

We have a stocking for our cats. This year we are filling it with a new bag of catnip and some mousie toys. We also bought them each an adorable scarf made just for cats. We got them at Petco and had them try them on already. It was amazing-the first article of clothing or accessory I've ever tried on them that they actually like! They will be wearing them on Christmas Eve when our family comes over:goodvibes

Mine do the same thing! I have one cat who loves water. When he hears water running, he comes tearing into the room. I thought he would love a fountain, so I bought one for him(and the others). They are all scared of it, so it is now being used as a refillable water bowl.

Last year, she got a brand new cat condo/climbing/scratching playground since we had just moved and she was scratching up my tv chest.

This year, I am heading to WDW in a few weeks and she loves a certain cat toy I have only found there so I will be picking up some of those and she will get a late christmas present.

What certain toy is this? I have cats and they would love if I brought them something for cats home from WDW....:cheer2:
