I plan on dining at V & A by my self on my families next trip. I will be arriving after the day my parents and grandparents dine there. So I plan on going by myself.

This will be my first time ever eating there and I am very excited. What will the total cost for myself be.

I know it's a prix fixe menu and you can get a wine paring, but I'm 20, so that will not be happening.

Thanks

Plan on $110-120 with tax and tip.

Not sure now but when we went in Sept. 1999 the fixed price menu was $85 each then $35 each for the wine pairing. With tax and tip for 2 the bill was $300 even. OUCH!!! My husband about fainted (even though we knew ahead of time what it would cost.). I think it was just "sticker shock"! The food was out of this world though!!

For my fiancee and I it was $220 even for the meal with no wine pairings. So for one person $110 would seem to be just about right.

Mike - Wow, I am so jealous! :) I'd say $110-$120 is about right. Keep in mind re the tip that you have not one but two very dedicated servers, so the "standard" tip doesn't really apply here. (Assuming, of course, that the service is excellent as usual.)
