We have already put down a deposit for our room/ticket package for Jan but the final payment is due on friday & we had a huge unexpected expense come up & we are unable to pay the remaining until Monday. Will they cancel our res? Will I loose my deal? Thanks!

Are you planning to pay with a credit card? If so, I would put it on the card and pay off the balance as soon as the bill comes. If you can't do that, I would give the reservations department a call tomorrow and explain the situation. Ask them what your options are and if the payment date can be extended. It never hurts to ask.

I believe I've read somewhere (probably here) that they can extend your payment deadline by one week if you call and ask.
