What Wii games have you played & what did you think of them?

So far we have
Mario party 8- I love it!
Cooking mama-really fun!
playground games-fun!
Carnival games-Fun!
Thrilleville-love it!
we are getting Wii Boogie tomorrow!

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga -- I played it for a little while, looks awesome, but I don't know how to play it yet....can't really review yet.
I plan on renting this one and possibly buying later on... we have Lego SW II for XBox 360... loooooved it. It only had the original saga on it (SW, Empire, Jedi) so I'd love to be able to play Episodes 1-3.

I love Smarty Pants too! My true favorite though is Boogie...I got it for my kids, with the real intent of it being for me. :p

Of my kids games, I like Playground, Carnival Games, Super Mario Galaxy, and Guitar Hero. They also got Hot Wheels Beat That and The Simpsons Game from relatives which I don't think they have even opened yet.

I haven't played much, but have watched the kids, DH, and nephews play. Overall I would say that the biggest DUD has been Dancing with the Stars. Really wish I had gotten DDR instead. DWTS has no real dancing involved.... just lots of jerky arm movements. And the dancers on the screen don't change what they do, no matter what the player does.

DS LOVES Lego Star Wars, The Complete Saga, but that is not surprising. No one else in the family plays it..........................P

I will make another vote for:

Mario Strikers. Like another poster stated, you do get to attack players. This is very different than traditional soccer games like FILA or the Olympics style games. My 13 year old really enjoys it.

Guitar Hero III is a very interesting game. All four of us (2 adults and 2 kids) play this game. It is a very fun and interactive game.

My Sims- both my kids really enjoyed this game. Its not a traditional Sims games so to speak, they both really like it.

Cooking Mama I- My kids liked it but as an adult I stunk at it.

High School Musical Sing it- this was one of the games that got my very regimented military sister up to sing. She does like karoake so it was pretty funny. Admittedly it is annoying to hear the songs over and over, it is pretty easy to play and my daughter really likes it.

Excite Truck= once you get the hang of holding the wiimote, it is a fun game.

Redsteel= my 13 year old likes this one. I can't handle the remote and nunchuck at the same time. When his 13 year old friends come over, they all play Redsteel.

SuperMonkey Ball- pretty mindless. My daughter likes the jump rope game.

Zelda- My son may be the only person on the earth that doesn't like this game.

Harry Potter- my son is a HP fan, so this game is right up his alley. He did like the idea of using the wand.

We have some other games but I don't know enough to give you an even educated guess on them.

Wii Sports - love it, especially the boxing! Probably my favourite so far.

Metroid Prime 3 - DFi is obsessed with this game, and has stayed up all night the past 2 nights playing it. I don't care for it but its not my type of game really!

Mario Party 8 - I enjoy this, although it has started bore me a bit - I think I have played too many previous editions of Mario Party, and its not very much fun to play alone!

Harry Potter - I am enjoying this as well, but have only played about 20 minutes so far so we'll see how it goes!

Big Brain Academy - could take it or leave it. It came in the Wii bundle we purchased and there is no way I would have paid for this separately.

We still have Zelda and Super Paper Mario that haven't even been opened yet...

I love the bowling, fitness and tennis that comes with the system.
I can finally say I know how to play tennis. :rotfl:

Carnival games - played it a few times. I really stink at some of the games.

Mario Party 8- DD likes it, I haven't tried it yet.

I want to buy the Wii Play.:yay:

I love mario galaxy..I always look foward to what strange and crazy planet Mario will land on next.
My DS loves Star Wars Lego and plays every chance he gets.
We have Carnival too but only play that occasionally.

We've got Wii Sports--Love it, especially bowling and boxing. My dh and ds17really like the golf and the tennis. We haven't done much on Play--got it pretty much for the extra remote. Mario/Sonic Olympics looks fun. Only dh and ds have played. The running events look cool, but some of the other events look tough! Just got Mario Galaxy and Super Swing Golf. Looks like Galaxy is going to be fun, but the guys weren't too impressed with the golf. We all love the HSM Sing It! We moved the Wii from our downstairs TV to our playroom tv and now there is no delay or echo. It is so much fun singing the songs together. I don't know who likes it more, my dds (3&7) or me and my dh. My dh and I are in a contest--so far he has the high score. My best friend and I spent a good part of New Year's Eve singing. We are all big HSM fans, so this was a no brainer for us. :)

Wii Sports- We've had the Wii a year and this one still gets a lot of play around here.

Wii Play- I lost interest in this one quickly. DS still likes to play the tank game sometimes.

Mario Party 8- A family Favorite!!! We have always loved this game though, and owned all the GameCube versions

Guitar Hero III- I haven't touched it, but it's got quite a bit of use around here this past week- the other games from Christmas are still unopened!

Oh, and I forgot about Wario Smooth Moves- that's my kind of game!!! Mini games that sometimes are literally a few seconds. I don't have the patience for the games that take weeks to beat. LOL

We own:
Wii Sports --- Has gotten to be a bit boring.
Link's Crossbow Training --- A lot of fun!
Carnival --- We bought the game today so I don't have an opinion about it just yet.
Resident Evil --- My husband is the only one who plays this game.

We want:
Big Brain Academy
Wii Play (We mainly want it for the controller.)
Smarty Pants
Guitar Hero III
Cooking Mama Cook Off
Bee Movie Game
Resident Evil: Umbrella
Paper Mario
Mario Galaxy
Trauma Center New Blood

I can't wait for Wii Fit to come out. I want that so bad!

We have:
Big Brain Academy-I play it off and on. It's an ok time waster kind of game
Mario Party 8-Fun
Excite Truck-I played it once so far but the kids like it
Boogie-Still trying to get into this one. It's not as great as I thought
Super Paper Mario-Fun
Super Mario Galaxy-Fun, although I haven't personally played it yet
Mario & Sonic Olympics-Very fun. The swimming one is hard to do
WarioWare Smooth Moves-Me and the kids looove this one
Rayman Raving Rabbids-This one is crazy insane. I love this one alot. Good entertainment
Wii Play-Basically got this one for the extra wiimote but it's ok
DD6 is the reigning champ in the house on wii bowling. She bowled a 554 on the training one where you have a certain number of chances to knock down as many pins as you can. She got the pro ball. It is red and sparkly and I thinks it actually rolls faster. My highest score was 498.

Games I purchased for christmas:

Smarty Pants, Cars Maternational, Carnival. These haven't been played yet

But my all time favorite right now is DDR: Hottest Party. Once I figured out how to play this, I was hooked. We have had our Wii since January of last year and I played this one for about 4-5 hrs new years eve night. Talk about sore legs. Good excercise though. This is a definite must have. The kids love it as well. After trying for what seemed like hours, I managed to get a "B" on hot stuff on the basic level.

Some games I plan on buying soon is Rayman Rabbids 2, Cooking Mama and Zelda Twilight Princess

We have had our Wii for a little over a year and here are some of our reviews

WarioWare Smooth Moves-Very stupid game but our family had lots of fun playing it. We haven't played it in awhile though.

Wii Play- Just got this one. DS(10) likes the cool minigames. He likes the tank minigame the best. I prefer the ping pong one. This is not near as good as Wii Sports though.

Zelda-Twilight Princess- I think this is most likely my DH's favorite game ever. He loved this game so much and was thrilled when he won but sad it was over. Too challenging for me.

Rayman Raving Rabbids- Mini games even dumber than WarioWare but my son loves it. Throwing toilet plungers at bunnies is not my idea of a good time but DS thinks it is hilarious

Wii Boogie- DS (10) likes this game as well. It is more about keeping the beat than doing the actual dance moves. He likes the video making that you can do after completing a dance. You can also sing with this game but we have not yet done that.

Super Mario Galaxy- DS just got this one for Christmas. Another great Mario game according to my son. You travel across planets. There is a new girl named Rosalina that my DS thinks Mario is flirting with while on his quest to save Princess Peach.

That is all I can think of right now. DS has been here helping me with these reviews, and he says "Peace Out :hippie: "
