What were your wedding colors?

My maid of honor wore a light shade of mauve which was called Frost Rose. My bridesmaids wore burgandy.

The guys wore a grey tux.

DH and I both wore white! ;)

Sweet Happiness, you're getting married this Saturday??!!! How exciting! Please share pictures afterwards :D

Teal and pink...they were the big colors in the early 90's. Looked pretty at a fall wedding.

Pink for the girls, dark gray for the guys...

Ours were black, white, red and gold :)

I wore white, my husband and groomsmen wore cream colored tuxes and my bridesmaids wore tea length, off the shoulder dresses. The material was a print of tiny, pink rosebuds against a cream background.

My colors were light pink and rose. Bridesmaids wore the light color and carried dark pink bouquets. The maid of honor and flower girl were the opposite

The ushers and best man wore grey with ties/cumberbunds to match their partners dresses.

My bouqet was pink and white roses.

A few months later the movie Steel Magnolias came out and I heard a lot of jokes about the wedding in that movie....

If you don't remember Julia Roberts said that her wedding colors were "blush" and "bashful"

Sally Field retorted that the colors were pink and pink and the church looked like it had been hosed down with Pepto Bismal!!!!

My bridesmaids wore navy (but each dress was different) and carried apple green flowers.

Wow, that reminds me of a wedding I attended. Must have been 7 or 8 bridesmaids, all wore shocking pink satin but each gown was different & complimentary to their bodytypes. Very striking & unusual.

Hey. Anyone here old enough to remember "rainbow" weddings?? ;)

Denise < --- worked for a florist a few years and LOVED weddings/prom time :)

My bridesmaids wore a very deep purple - I guess it would be aubergene. And they had rose colored ribbons on the bouquets and for accents in the reception hall.

The girls wore red dresses and the guys vests and ties were silver. I also used touches of yellow/gold. :)

My dress was ivory and my one and only bridesmaid/matron of honor wore a tea length emerald green dress. My silk flowers were pale yellow and ivory roses with greenery. It turned out very pretty (if I do say so, ;) ) and elegant. imo. DH wore a black tux.

When we got married in Las Vegas, I wore a navy blue dress and carried yellow roses (my favorite rose color!). I took the "church ceremony" (3 months later) colors from that. The primary colors were navy blue and silver. After I chose the colors, I found a wedding dress that was white with silver accented flowers in the bodice. The men wore black tuxes with navy vests/ties. The flowers were fire and ice roses - yellow with red tips.

caitycaity - Your bridesmaid dresses are beautiful.

denisem - My old roommates had somewhat of a "rainbow" wedding not quite two years ago. They had an autumn equinox theme so there were fall colors everywhere in the flowers/decor. Then the bridesmaid dresses were various pastels - yellow, pink, blue, green and lavendar with white and gold crinilen (sp?) draped over it. Of course, the groom was the best of all with his "costume" (he refused to let us call it a suit). It was khaki pants with a fluffy white shirt (think Seinfeld's pirate shirt) and deep purple velvety jacket with gold trip everywhere.

my first wedding was the traditional church type wedding...we used emerald green and gold...

then my second wedding...it was just the two of us, so no attendants. our favorite color is purple...so to pick up purples with no attendants and such, my bouquet had various shades of purple (made it myself!!) and then my dress was white (very simple) with a detachable lavendar chiffon train. it was very pretty, if i do say so myself! :teeth:

Our colors were black, white, and a touch of silver. Dh and best man wore black tuxes with black and silver vests. I wore a white dress and maid of honor wore a black dress. We had all colors and types of spring flowers to carry. The wedding was outside at a gazebo in May. Came together just the way I wanted :D .

Bridesmaids wore midnight blue, groom wore military "mess dress" (he was an active duty naval officer at the time) and the groomsmen wore black tuxes. We had a sword arch too, and they were dressed in dress whites, I think.

Oh yeah, I wore white. ;)
