Reading and writing were my strengths but Math came real hard for me as did dressing for gym class, too!! :yay:

Mine too I was very good in Reading and Writing but forget about Math and spelling. That is why I teach first grade the Math is not that difficult. :rolleyes1

English, writing, social studies, and art were my strengths. Maths & science, eh, I was average, I guess, but totally lacked enthusiasm for those subjects. My biggest weakness in school was lack of organizational skills.

My DD is in 5th grade & I'm happy to see that schools actually teach organizational skills now. They have agenda planners to write assignments in and everything. Not that a 5th grader has such an overwhelming schedule, but getting into the habit of planning and organizing is sure to help her in years to come!

Strengths: Math, Science, English

Weaknesses: History & anything having to do with sports (PE, etc.)

I guess I've always done well in all of the core subjects, but math has always been most difficult for me. Gym was the class I dreaded most (I'm a totally non athletic klutz), but art always followed close behind. In 8th grade art was the only subject that kept me from having straight A's all year. I got a B+ :badpc:  In high school I fulfilled the art requirement by taking an art history course. All art projects were left ungraded, and were fun, like finger painting :thumbsup2

Math was pretty bad for me but I was good in all the other core subjects.

Starting with Red Rover, Red Rover in 1st grade, I hated gym. Don't tell that to DS though. There was one time when he practically had pneumonia and had to stay home from school on gym day. He was not happy.

Strengths were reading, math and science...everything else but art. I can't draw a straight line with a ruler.

I bounce all over the place..
In middle school I was awesome at math and had a lot of trouble with english.
In high school I turned around and started doing great at english and falling in math.
Science has always been hard. :(
History is okay.
I LOVE art and choir. I'm good, but not great at either.
Gym is a nightmare.

English was my strong point. Always. Then Science- loved science- still do.
Math was my downfall. Starting in Jr. High.. downhill all the way after that.

Strengths: English, History, and Hairspray application :teeth:

Weaknesses: Math (anything more advanced than Geometry made me  ), Science was so-so.

I was pretty good in everything but Math and Science.

Strengths: Math, Science, Computers, Sports

Weakness:Spelling, English, writing, Reading, Grammar

I hate English, Writing, and Grammar in all. It was only thing in college that brought by GPA down in college. I got all F's. i so happy to get D Comp I i took that grade and ran away from Comp I.

I just got finish helping my little cousin with Calcus homework. She said I explain better than the math teacher. She brought out the English homework and I ran from the room. :rotfl2: :lmao:

Still don't know what a complete sentence to this.

I know make at good engineer and math teacher.

I was always acacemically gifted and tested well. I was good at math, reading etc.

BUT...I've always been a flake. I'm disorganized, forget to turn things in, forget to do them, forget due dates, don't read the directions etc.

So...My intelligence is basically useless as I can't even read directions!!!

Math and English were my best subjects. I didn't like science so I didn't do as well with it, but I still did pretty good

Strengths were English and Science. Weakness was Math. DH is also Math impaired. DS is a Math whiz. Go figure!

I didn't have any one particular strength, I scored pretty evenly across the board. I got the same score on both sections of the SAT. :)

French was a serious weakness for me, though - I don't really hear the language. I can read it and write it, but speaking it was a major problem. Ooof.

I was good in the grammar portion of English, and good in Math -- except Geometry. That was the only academic class in all my school years that I nearly failed. I was absolutely delighted with that "C" I earned.

Besides Geometry, I struggled in Science and PE. More because of lack of interest than anything else.

i was super smart in everything but math omg i loathed math(still do), i was in AP classes for everything but math.
dh is also super smart but is awesome at math, and his weakness is reading(we call it english here).
so ds lucked out as he is in gifted and talented for both reading AND math. (that is all they offer right now in 3rd grade)

no if i could just fig out a map......never had a class for that sooo i am sure that would fall into the same spot as math, lol.

Strengths: I was able to do well at most subjects - especially grammar, writing, history, French. And I'm really good at tests.

Weaknesses: In high school and earlier I was way too shy and not outgoing enough socially :(. But ask some of my real-life DIS friends now, and they'll tell you I'm not like that anymore :).

Also grades and anything hands-on used to stress me out completely. My closest call with getting a B (I know, I know  - see below) was in Driver's Ed and Typing :rolleyes2, but now I'm good at both ::yes::.

I am still bad at memorizing text and reciting it verbally (e.g. "To be or not to be. . .").

In college, I had a horrible time with Statistics, and also still had trouble with hands-on stuff like Microbiology and Chemistry labs. I got my first B ever in Chemistry, but it was a blessing in disguise. I stressed way too much over grades my whole life before that B, so it was very significant for me (in a very positive, anxiety-relieving way).
