What were your first impressions of everyone here at the TB?

I remember I used to PM Katie a looong time ago before she really was 'well known?' on here.

I thought mostly everyone was insanely close with eachother with is primarily true.

pigletgurl scared me the first time she posted because we have similar hopes and her screenname is pretty much identical, so i was a little creeped out to tell you the truth. Its all better now though!

When I first starting to chat with Jenny, I thought woah, I have never seen a person with a mind of her own! It actually scared me a bit if she would post after I did.

Yeah, it took me awhile to warm up to everyone, but I think last summer really helped alot!

Sorry for scaring you! But thanks, lol. I've always liked discussing things with you, because we can debate something maturely, and still be friends.

When I first met you, I honestly thought you were pregnant! I think you had a ticker in your signature for when your mom would give birth, and I thought it was you.

At first, I thought Jenny hated me. lol, I remember all the time on the Rate Your Sig thread when I first joined she would always rate me like a 3.5 and I always felt so bad, lol.

I thought George was a girl.

I remember that! I'm sorry! I remember you kept telling me you'd change it after you got back from Disney.

I thought that Em was fake. She just rubbed me the wrong way for some reason.

I thought that Shelby was amazing. (She is, by the way.)

I thought that Hilary would be a great friend, and that's uber true.

I thought that Jenny was a shy person...How wrong I was. XD

The only person I can really remember when I joined was Julie. You were so nice to me, even though the rest of the TB really intimidated me!

I remember I joined around the election.. so there were a lot of arguments and some of the threads got kind of hostile.

Sonya, to be honest, the first time I really remember you is your very first post about cancer, and I figured you were lying. We had had a lot of people lying about illnesses recently. But of course I didn't keep that impression long. I'm sorry I didn't believe you at first.

But WAIT. That wasn't my very FIRST impression! My mom said that me and you became instant friends when we were kiddies.

Uhm, I thought Tom was creepy! (Crazytp93). One of the first times I can remember us talking was right before my September 2007 trip, and he asked me what airport I was flying out, lol. Uhm, Idontknowyouthatspersonal! Haha.

To be honest, I think a lot of new people are irritating, so I'm sorry if that's what I thought of you when we first me. I slowly become more and more accepting of them though, hah.

Hm, Devan. I remember her posting one night, and she was babysitting someone? We IM'd. I instantly liked her.

Jaimie. Her name was very confusing for me, but now I know exactly what it is and what it stands for, lol.

Hilary used to have this picture from a car or something? In her signature? And she used to really like some guy singer? I can't remember the details, but that's how I remembered her by.

Who else? ....I can't remember. My opinions of a lot of the newer people came after last summer when I posted and couldn't tell who ANYONE was.

Honestly, that the people here needed to get lives. People had been memebers for less than a year and had close to 10,000 posts. It freaked me out.

tbh, i don't really believe much of what anyone says until they have a higher post count or are here for a while. so i really didn't believe her either. mostly just because we get SO many people who come in with extravagant stories (remember that girl who had the baby and then was like "jk guys, not really") and then that saratogasprings girl from a few weeks ago. i just don't put much weight in what people say for awhile.

Mhmm. It was just like so fishy what she said...idk. She'd be like "Ughh boys don't get me! I don't know what to do!" & then 2 days later she had a boyfriend and they were doing all this "stuff". I was like okie doke!

Same here. Like honestly the one time where there were like 10 girls or whatever. I love welcoming people here & love getting PMs to make new friends. But I got the girl who was beat by her parents, then she was gone. Then a few days later I got the adopted girl searching for her parents. It's just all so confusing and annoying. There was also the girl who's dad died and stuff?! All these stories in a really short span of time turning out to be one person :/
