It snowed before the fireworks?? Last year it snowed after them......

Yes, it did both. It snowed about 5:30pm which i guess was the castle lighting and then it snowed after the fireworks around 8pm.
 
So my mom and I foolishly planned our trip for Dec. 8th and 9th, only later to discover that the park closes at 6pm both days for Cast Member Christmas parties. :sad1: Fortunately the schedule says that fireworks will still go on at 5:45pm on these days....do you think they'll still have the castle lighting ceremony at 5:30? :worried:
 
Probably - it's actually a 3 part show, with the last part being at the end of the fireworks. I would check with the information desk by the tip and times board to see what the actual schedule is on those nights.

Huh, I had NO idea they did it for the castle lighting, I've never watched that. Something else for my list....lol
