What week in october?

What week in October do you all recommend us going next year? Never been in the fall or during F&W. So excited! Will probably be a Wed-Sun thing...

Anytime is fine in Oct but crowds are lowest for the month in early Oct.

it's been busier every year we've visited the week prior to Columbus Day.

OP i'd book your trip the Wednesday after Columbus Day and book ASAP to avoid being shut out.

I don't know what the schools are doing in Ohio, but here in Indiana several school are out for 1-2 weeks for the first 3 weeks of October. We really noticed the difference in prices of flights out of Indianapolis and all the best times were full early.

The wait times were still good at Disney, but getting there was a pain. If we go again in October, it will have to be the last week.

ps thanx to OP for starting this thread I realized this morning I had forgotten to mark the 11 month date to make 'our' reservations . Glad i have until monday to figure out which resort to book this trip lol.
