What week in Dec are you going!

I'm coming down to see Whoopi the 18 th . Then going to Kouzinna Sat. The 19th. My big trip to WDW is in 3 weeks!!!!!

Between the poll on this thread and the current limited availability of resort rooms, I'm getting REALLY nervous about my upcoming December trip. If you look at anything WDW guidebook or site, it will tell you that historically the first week of December has one of the lowest crowd levels of the year. I'm starting to wonder if this year will be a change in that pattern, though.

Hello December Dis Friends! We will be at Poly 12/5 - 12/13!

Elevationist - I'm with you! What the heck is going on???? I recently got online and checked our dates. There is not a room to be found - not one, nilch, zero, no how, no place, no where!!! Yikes! I did read on another board that it may be a good thing because they could be booked up for Pop Warner which keeps others from booking trips at that time and the Pop Warner people will not be in the parks. I'm starting to get very worried, though! If anyone knows anything, please post.

DITTO on not finding a room......I tried to add a couple days on the front end of our trip. NOT ONE ROOM.

PLUS...they are filming the ABC parade that weekend, too.

I am sooo excited..my DH and I are active duty AF so we are taking advantage of Disney's Salute the Military deal. We are taking my DS1, DS2 and my mom from the 29th of Nov till the 5th of Dec. I can not wait. We will be staying at the All Star Movies so we can "feel the magic"...

I love DW. This will be my millionth time going to a disney park. My DH has never been(he was deprived as a child), my mom and DS2 has not been either. I am looking forward to sharing this with them. I am hoping the weather will hold up and be warm and their will be no crowds.

I think there's something wrong with the online booking. Just to test it I went in to book something in May, and it told me there was no availability. Pretty sure the first week of December will be as quiet as usual.

We'll be at POR Dec 26-Dec 30! Our kids (DD8 and DS6) don't know yet and Santa will surprise them on Christmas morning with our trip. Sure hope they aren't going to be disappointed. My DD8 keeps saying she's asking Santa for a Wii. Hopefully, they will be excited when they find out that 6 of their cousins are going too!

Staying Nov 27-29 at CBR and then moving to AKL Nov 29-Dec 5. Sooooo excited! Never stayed at CBR before. Also, this is our 1st stay at a deluxe and I've ALWAYS wanted to stay at AKL. Now if only I can make the days go by a little faster....
