the one that you said you will never go back to ; but you're still going there? Mine is O'hana's . 3 years ago had really bad service where we were "rushed' through a 35 minute meal. swore I wouldn't go back, but guess what next year was there. then they changed menu around-thought that would be my chance to not have to come back because of that, well guess where we ate last year even after another menu change ? on top of the changes we had bad service again(must be thursday's -becuase it was both times on that day). we are now making plans for September and guess what is on our list to make an ADR for !? :rolleyes1

Well we ate at the Garden Grill back in 1999 I think & we liked it...Then they changed it to the fancier menu so I said we wouldn't go back..now they have changed back to the family style farmer theme so we are trying it this August.

San Angel Inn. We've been there twice. We loved the theming, and the food was pretty good, but DH and I decided not to go again after the second visit. The service was poor both times. Plus, it was so dark we couldn't even see what we were eating and the tables were so close together we couldn't get in and out of our chairs without bumping the chairs at the tables around us.

So why is San Angel Inn on our list for our next trip to WDW? On our family trips, everyone gets to pick one restaurant to visit, and this was our younger DS's choice. We did like the food and the theming - we're just hoping the service will be better this time.

Chef Mickey's ... dinner buffet was the worst, :crazy2: but the character interaction was great, so we're heading back for breakfast. :rotfl:

Most of my never to returns are at MGM.

Sci-Fi aften 6 years of not returning thought it was the worst over-priced food. We returned on a very hot October afternoon. Needed a quick cool-me-down and pick-me-up break.

A cool drink some side dishes, DH had the chili the kids milk shakes. We all enjoyed it very much. I guess I'll return in the future but watch what we order.

Another one that I absoluutely hate is Hollywood & Vine, going on 7 years since our last visit. If this restaurant get the new character meal featuring Toy Story. Guess we'll have to try it.

Experience's at Alfredo's and not going on last 6 trip's we may give it one more try. :goodvibes

I can't point to one place we won't go back to. But the ones on the very bottom of our list include:
Big River Grill & Brew Works (just OK food -incredibly bad service)
Fultons (Good food - poor service)
Rain Forest Cafe (OK food, very bad service)
Alfredos (OK food, poor service and ambiance, priced too high)
Morrocco (Sorry, I just don't like their food - the belly dancing was nice)
California Grill (Way to expensive for what you get)

The ones (only three) I have said I would not return to, I have not.
The first one, just happened to be our first WDW meal too -- Mama Melrose's.
That was five years ago. The food was fine. Just highly over priced for what we got, coupled by the nearly the poorest service ever had at a Disney restaurant. (CA Grille was first in that area. Another I won't return to.)
I keep thinking I will give MM another chance. But I suspect Olive Garden costs less, is better, and with more choices. :rotfl2: ;)

I know Coral Reef is supposed to a favorite, but when I went there years ago, I wondered what the fuss was all about. My whole family felt the same way. .....although we like the picture my mom took of the Mickey shaped Butter.

I guess being from Baltimore spoils us :fish: We tend not to get too impressed with most seafood places around the country.

We went a few years ago - hated it. Food, service, everything.

Last year we decided to give it one more try since it gets such good reviews. Guess what? It was worst than the first time. Service once again sucked. Food was mediocre.

NEVER, EVER AGAIN.

Ever.

Beaches and Cream - yuck , yuck, yuck!!! In fact this was the worst dining experience of my whole life.

Maggs

Ashkerhaus for a Princess Dinner. My family are not picky eaters at all but there was nothing edible at all about this meal. It was also one of the more $$$ meals we've had.

The Princess interaction was terrific and DD loved that but that food, blech.

Another vote for Coral Reef - it was not good seafood at all. Can not to this day figure out what all the hype is about. :cool1:

Mama Melrose and Alfredo's...Is there any good Italian food in WDW??? If so after 30+ trips I haven't found it!

OK, mine is a CS, but it was just nasty. Pizza Planet! Talk about being disappointed. We were hoping for something like what was in Toy Story. Boy were we wrong! Don't even get me started on how nasty the pizza was! :crazy2:

How about Portobello Yacht Club over at PI?

Thanks Jeff

I might have to try it...Boston has an awesome North End so I guess I am spoiled!

pinnochio haus...it was the first counter place we ever ate at wdw and incredibly bad food but after 20+ yrs i might give it another try since i heard the menu changed...maybe sci fi in another 20 yrs or so, another notoriously bad meal...not that i hold a grudge for getting rotten food or anything :teeth:

i might actually try boma again next trip but for dinner instead of breakfst like last trip's disappointing meal. ( the food was good, just not exotic like i hoped)
