What water park?

HELP! I can't decide which water park to go to? We will only have time for one, so which should it be? Kids 12, 9 and 5!

Blizzard beach 110%

We prefer Typhoon Lagoon for all-round atmosphere and themeing, and for its wonderful giant wave pool and good range of slides. Blizzard Beach has more 'thrill slides' than TL, and is nicely themed (although not quite same quality as TL in my opinion). If your kids are thrill junkies Wet n'Wild might be the place as it has the most slides, but other than that is a bit of a concrete eyesore.

Choose which one you think you'll enjoy most, but don't worry as you will have a great day whichever one you choose.

Both TL and BB are great waterparks and you won't be dissaponted with either.
Typhoon Lagoon has more shade and the feel of a tropical Island, it has pretty good slides, the chance to snorkle with sharks (little ones) and other tropical fish at Shark Reef it also has the BEST wave pool.
BB, I agree with Rob, the themeing is clever, but it isn't as attractive (IMHO) as TL. Where BB scores is , without doubt, it's slides. There are more of them and they are definately "better" than those at TL. It's wave pool is good fun, but it's MUCH smaller than TL. BB also has, IMHO a slightly better "kids area"

Overall I think my preference is, just, TL although if thrill rides are a major issue that may tip it for BB.

Another vote for Blizzard Beach here.

The variety and thrill of the slides are much better IMHO.

By looking at your "Days to Go" bit under your post, I've worked out you're leaving on 28th October. (Is that right?)

Just a warning - November through February is normally the time when they close one of the water parks for annual maintenance. Normally it's TL in Nov and Dec, then that reopens while BB is closed in Jan & Feb, but they may have changed it this year.

So you may only have one water park open after all.

I'd vote for TL.

This is the time of year I always go to Orlando and as steve_rob says ,TL closes at some stage at the end of October It might be the last weekend,not sure.
