We were both just about 26 when we got married, and it took us a while to pick a wedding song. We went throught the new love songs at the time, but I really wanted a classic song to remember the day by. Well, one night, I was watching "thirtysomething" on TV, and it was the episode about Ellyn's wedding, very emotional. At the end, when she finally walks down the aisle, a song is playing, by Ray Charles, that I've never heard, but I fell in love with it. It was "Come Rain or Shine," and it was just perfect.

, a few oldies, a few orchestra classics, a few disco beats, toss in a little Louie Armstrong, Chuck Mangione, and at least a dozen cartoon theme songs, and I know for sure that one person was thrilled with every song! ME!

It wasn't "our song" -- that was "Your Song" by Elton John (the first song Nicole and I danced to at our first formal dance). But the band we hired couldn't play it, so we had to go with an alternate choice, and that was it.

That was the song I danced with my dad to When I was little he saw this band in the 70's called Charade and one night he took me to see them and the played that song and my dad and I danced together, I was probably like 8. There was never a question that would be the song I danced with him to at my wedding.

We had songs from "Camelot" cause we met in that show (Guinevere & Lancelot) and "King Arthur" performed our wedding ceremony.

I know it doesn't sound like a wedding song, but we walked down the aisle and back up the aisle to "If Ever I Would Leave You".
