What was your pregnancy craving??

1st---Taco Bell's soft taco supreme (couldn't get near a pizza or even smell a pizza)

2nd--Taco pizza LOL

#1 - lemonade and McDonald's Happy Meals.

#2 - Dunkin Donuts plain donuts, vanilla ice cream with fruit on it, and salad

With #1 I couldn't stand Chinese food. Even the smell would make me turn green (and it's one of my ethnic favorites).

With DD -- It was pepperocini peppers. DH would go to Quiznos and fill a cup with them for me when he'd get a sandwich. I was totally disgusted by all meat and microwave popcorn.

With DS -- (not together) Honey Nut Cheerios and ketchup -- I HATE ketchup -- but I couldn't get enough. I also wanted tons of this caffeine free hibiscus tea. It was so cold and good during the hot summer. I don't think I had any aversions with DS.

ds #1 - raw veggies with ranch dip, my mom's homemade chicken salad, and Pelligrino

ds #2 - SPICY mexican food and the sour slushie type drinks that you get at ice cream places.

With the first, I basically lived on PB&J, Plain Pasta (maybe with a little butter) and Apples. It wasn't so much that I craved those three as everything else semmed/smelled too strong. This was what I was left with.

No cravings or aversions with my second child.

I gained 30 pounds with both and lost it with both.

With my DD it was necatrines. I spent a small fortune on off season nectarines :lmao:

With DS it was black eyed peas

Toasted English muffins slathered with apple butter. DD loves apple butter.

I didn't have any morning sickness but I couldn't even drive by a Taco Bell. The smell of the ground beef made me nauseated. Strangely enough, DD loves Taco Bell.

I craved lemons, ice, cinnamon and egg salad all at different stages of the pregnancy. Couldn't drink coffee at all for the duration, it made me feel sick.

anything with red sauce (pasta or pizza). I think it was tomatoes I craved but I don't like raw tomatoes at all, so any kind of tomato sauce fit the bill

fresh cold pineapple when I was pg with the twins...I was hospitalized several times and would have dh cut some up and bring tons of it to the hospital. so good!

chocolate

with my eldest I had the worst craving for hot dogs, which is weird because I don't like them in general. I only caved once and had one at a fourth of july party and worried half the day because I knew how bad they were.

I never really had morning sickness with either pregnancy, but I did have food aversions, particularly to poultry. funny because normally I love chicken and turkey, but they were really hard to choke down when I was pg. eggs started to be a bit of a problem, too. really tough because with my twin pregnancy I tried to eat a lot of extra protein.

I craved cinnamon-raisin bagels with cream cheese while I was pregnant with my dds. I used to get one just about every day while I was pregnant with dd#1.

When I had stopped eating them for awhile, then went back to the deli and asked for one, the girl said to me "Are you pregnant?" and my answer was "yes." :rotfl:

I don't remember any cravings with ds. :confused3

Obviously this is my wife's answer....what was her pregnancy craving? ....for it to be over.

Milk...I drink TONS of it...

1st bacon, hot peppers and I smothered everything in A 1 sauce.
2nd just again smothered everything in A 1 sauce

Pickle slices, like you put on hamburgers.

DH and I bowled on a Sunday night league and I would always go to the snack bar and get a paper plate full of pickles to munch on while we bowled.

I TRIED to eat healthy ,but that went out the window the first two trimesters .

I craved donut holes and coke for breakfast .. which my boss loved because I was so hopped up first hour of work I got lots done ; ) .

Lunch was a Big Mac .. OMG GROSS , I had never had one before and not once in 10 years since . The thought makes me sick now.

Dinner was a banana split, I picked up in drive through at Baskin Robbins and climbed in bed to eat at home. Asleep every night by 6 afterwards. If I didn't have a banana split , I drove through Mcdonalds and got a ice cream cone which was finished before I left parking lot.

I didn't cook for at least 6 months, everything made me sick except above items.

Crazy I only gained 19 lbs and baby was 5 lbs.

I hated that i ate like that but I threw up everything else.

Chitterlings w/ coleslaw, and hotsauce. Could not get enough of them. They come in 10lb buckets, my mom cooked me a bucket a week. They were so good at the time.
