What was your longest stay at US?

Add little detail if you can. (Hotel you stayed at. How many days you visited the parks. Etc...)

12 Nights at the Portofino is the longest - but 10 nights is our typical length.

Usually hit at least 1 park every day - might not on our "designated pool day" (when we rent a cabana). We usually hit one park the first full day there, then the other park the next day. Usually from early entry (if available) until about 3 pm to hit the bulk of the main attractions. Then the second day at the Studios, we'll just hit the most popular rides among the group and some of the "lesser" items (shows, etc.) that we didn't catch on that first day. 2nd day at IOA we dress to get wet, go a little later in the day and hit the most popular rides again along with the wet rides (that we usually skip our first day because it is too early in the day).

The rest of the trip, we just pop into one or both parks whenever we want to ride whatever appeals to our mood at any given time - or just to kill an hour our so waiting for a restaurant reservation, etc. We usually spend a half day or so just to go to the parks for souvenir shopping - and also get to the Studios at least once during the trip to spend the last few hours before closing so we can experience it at night and catch the lagoon show.

Our longest stay was 9 nights - then moved over to WDW for a few days - we visited most days but not full days. Probably 5/6 days in Universal - also went to SeaWorld, Busch and Wet n Wild using hotel transportation and Busch Gardens Express.

We are going for 7 nights at the end of this week with one day planned away from the parks and the rest - part days rather than full days.

1 night offsite (got to town early) and four nights RPR. Five days in the parks.

18 nights at RP Club Level.

We do the parks as we feel like it.

We have a 14 day park to park ticket so we may spend some time in either park most days till after lunch, sometimes we eat lunch in the parks or wander off to a mall or anywhere else around Orlando. At night it's usually HHN or meeting up with friends or more park time depending on hours.

We never get bored just doing Universal and we never have any inclination of going to Disney again or Seaworld which surprises most people. Have no interest in it. But we do spend time doing other things around Orlando or Clearwater area. Haven't done the beach last two years but may do that this year again.

Curious as to why you ask.......are you considering staying or spending a longer time at Universal :)

I think it was 8 nights PBH club level.

Would have been SO great. Except that the 2 weeks prior (WDW and Daytona) my son and I were sick as dogs. My son was still sick at PBH and I was still a bit sick; nights were horrible. So there were park *hours*, not days. And they were slow-walking hours. It was such a bummer.

But giving in to DH's wishes for Club really paid off, because no one had to go out all the time to get food. DS and I were barely eating anything, so most evenings the snacks were totally enough for the two of us. DH had to get food, and every few nights we got a pizza from Sal's to go, and it was all good.

And once I really rallied, sitting in the lounge (while DH was with DS in the room) was lovely. A nice opportunity to breathe again. And the staff all felt so sad for me. One night they poured me a full 16 oz plastic cup (with lid) of wine and let me take it to the room with a plate of cookies. They were wonderful.

And most of them had had the THING that we had, and were able to give us the benefit of their experiences and doctor visits since most of them had gone to one. (virus, no treatment, wait it out, takes weeks)

Someday we'll have a redo, but without the illness, and it will be amazing.

We keep preferred APs so it's not a matter of IF we go back, but when, and what our budget is. :)

6 nights Portofino Bay Club level in a Villa Suite with two bedrooms (very, very lovely upgrade during a low season). Went to the parks every day. Did the Pirates and Princess Party at MK one night.

We go anywhere between 1 night to 10 nights. Pretty much everyday is a park day even if it's just for the evening. Our place to stay is RPR, PBH, and one stay CB. I would stay at HRH but no Loews you first. You really can't go by us as we are there so much.

HI! Usually 5 to 7 nights, have stayed at all of the original 3. will go to the Parks daily but often spend a lot of time at our resort pool side. Not in a hurry, and also such a great time. This upcoming Oct. trip will be 8nights at the Hard Rock Club which I think is our favorite resort for now, I'll admit it does change, they are all great resorts and if you can stay onsite, that is the way to go!

8 days at Hard Rock (Portifino Bay is our favorite hotel though) - we had park to park tickets for the entire time and visited something in the parks daily; we also spent a lot of time at the pool and some time just walking around

6 nights at RPR in 2010 during WWoHP soft opening, we originally booked 5 nights in hopes of the soft opening and added the extra night since FJ broke down while we were in line about to board. It was awesome to be there and be among the first to ride FJ.

We're booked for 7 nights at CB this fall...we visit the parks every day, use single rider lines when the wait is too long and just enjoy the atmosphere. We are all AP holders so we try to go as often as we can but always during HHN.

I can't wait till HHN 25party:

Also staying at pop for 1 night after the darkside to attend Food & Wine Festival...we used to do WDW for long trips but it's too much $ and planning lately.

2 weeks at the darkside this fall.
rpr my home away from home.

added 4 nights to above for a stay at the motherland first, then moving over to the darkside.

7 nights at cabana bay did 5 days in the parks but not full days, great to come and go. So easy staying onsite. Booked for 10 nights this year. We have the 14 day ticket for UK visitors.

7 days at HRH in a standard room. We went to the parks every day, but not full days. We were also there when the crowds were low to moderate (last week of April). We spent 4-5 hours a day in the parks and then hung out at the pool. We did take one afternoon and hit the outlet mall (teenage girl request).

For US/IOA only, 6 days of parks. We had a day in the middle for Legoland, so that would be a one week trip. We had purchased 7 days for $99 a few years prior for each person in our family. I wish we had bought more! We do split stays for lodging - part off-site and part at RPR. We're going to buy AP's for our next trip.
