We used to go for 4 nights, Then 7 nights.....NOW I am thinking LONGER!!!

I know people have stayed onsite for much longer periods of time. What was the longest you stayed & how was it. Is X amount of nights toooooo long? :confused3

We stayed 8 nights last month. I could not believe how fast the time went. I think you could stay a month and still not do everything you planned.

we stayed 16 days this year
I could live in Disney
we stayed in two different resorts

Eight nights for us, too. Definitely didn't have that "had fun but ready to go home" feeling yet... :flower:

We stayed 9 the other year and it was awesome. We just stayed for 5 nights this past weekend and it seemed way to short now.

15 nights was my longest in Dec 2003....I'd love to do it again...this year I broke it up into 4 trips and stayed a total of 31 days....YIPPEEEE!!

I would love to be able to do that as well but the flights from Ireland are to dear :rotfl2:

Our longest stay was 10 days. We will not do that again! We were ready to go home on our 7th day! My children and I got a little home sick. I miss driving my car and I miss being home and sleep in my own bed.

We usually take 6 or 7 day trip which I think it's long enough to feel not rush. I have taken 4 day trip and I felt it was too short, but it was a budget, a quick Disney fix for me. So a 6 or 7 day trip is good for us.

11 nights this past Feb, was our longest :cool1:

when i was younger my family stayed for 3 weeks at Fort Wilderness. We also had annual passes and didn't really go into the parks all the time. we used to hang around the camp ground and relax. i think only EPCOT and MK were open then so not a ton of stuff to do. but i could live there and never get tired of it. this year we are going for 9 days and i probably will be crying when we leave.

We stayed 10 with the kids in May and will be staying 5 in July (just dh and me) and 8 in October (again with children). 10 is about my limit. The crowds really start to get on my nerves right about then. Of course, we only "do" Disney. Perhaps I could stay longer if we left the WDW resort for a day or two.

12 nights at BCV 2 nights in Tampa (beach visit) and 13 nights at SSR.
It was originally supposed to be 12 nights at SSR, but I really didnt want to leave so dh said we could stay one more day and leave early the next morning. (we were driving).

We checked in on 5/29 and left on 6/25. It was great and we really took it easy and enjoyed just being at WDW as a family. We swam, fished, strolled, grilled, shopped, rode the boats and monorail for no reason, played shuffleboard, basketball and tennis and just relaxed. :sunny: Once the crowds came, we found other things to do most days. We didnt even make it to AKL this trip because we had so much to do! Plus it was hot and rained every afternoon so that can slow you down quite a bit.

Surprisingly, I didnt miss home as much as I thought I would, and I definitely didnt miss work. THe boys missed their granny and their computer, but that was about it!

Hey, we also had our longest trip, which was 11 nights at AKL, last February! ::MickeyMo
I have to agree with Fantasia, however. I absolutely love Walt Disney World, but by the end of the 8th-9th day, we were ready to come home! I don't quite know how to explain it, but even though we were having a blast, we just started to miss the comforts of NYC and our 3 furry kids. I don't think we'll stay longer than 7-8 days from now on.

We will be staying for 13 nights this month....a new record for us! Our first trip was 10 days.

Our shortest one.....3 1/2 days:sad1: never again! That's just plain teasing.

16 nights is our longest also (and I could have stayed longer!). This year we are staying for 12 nights as that is all that schedule (and wallet) will allow. I like the longer stays because there is plenty of time to "stop and smell the roses" without feeling the need to rush and get everything done.

so far the longest we have stayed has been 9 nights
This Aug DS13 & I will be at WDW for 14nights! :Pinkbounc
8nights VWL, 6nights BCV

So far, it's been 9 nights. I'd love to go 2 weeks but I can't swing it right now.
