What Was Your First Coaster At Disneyland

Ah I remember it fondly, it was a really nice coaster it had Tinkerbell on it on one side and on the other side Capt. Hook. I still have that drink coaster too, although it does have a bit of a ring around it from my sugary cold drinks, so I just flip it on the other side.

Matterhorn...........only one there was.

Not sure how old I was when I first rode it.
First trip to DL was 1957.

My first roller coaster anywhere was the Matterhorn when I was 12 (1985). Haven't been on it again since. I was in the front and hated it.

Ironically I don't mind Space or BTMRR, but I will never ever go on screaming. DW went on screaming this past week and liked it but no way for me. Just doesn't look fun at all.

on a happy/sad note BTMRR was the last Disney coaster my grandma did, at the age of 82. I come from hardy Disney Stock.

I had to ride Big Thunder as my first roller coaster. You always see is being advertised on TV in commercials and other Ads. Everyone always looked like they were having a great time, and also the mine carts just looks soooooo cool! Every time I ride that ride now I always think about how badly I wanted to ride that roller coaster, and now I pretend im in the commercial.
