What was your first car?

When I was 15 my parents bought me a brand new red 1977 Camaro.

A sleek, black Mercury LN7.

It was a two door, four speed hatchback. It was a two seater with a great stereo. Ah.... those were the days!

A brand new 1993 Cayman Green Ford Escort LX 2 door hatchback. I donated it to charity a couple of years ago.

1969 VW Bug. Stick shift. Drove that car until the engine literally fell apart. I still miss it!

Here you go my friend, my present to you. It's all gassed up and ready to go.

89 Dodge Colt hatchback. My dad bought it and I had to pay him a 100.00 a week till it was paid off! I was 17 years old paying $400 a month for a piece of crap!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl2:

1977 Toyota Corolla, yellow, hole in the floor board patched with plywood (feet would get wet when it rained), am radio only - boom box in the passenger seat for FM & cassette.

1978 Orange Datsun B210. I loved it, I could always find it in a crowded parking lot.

Believe it or not, that was my first car too!! I shared it with my older brother. It was a 79 hatchback in a lovely shade of pumpkin orange. I remember being able to pull the key out of the ignition even while the car was still running. So, I would often do this when I stopped at a convenience store. Of course, I would lock the doors(not that anyone would want to steal my Datsun pumpkin, but you never know).

Then my Dad decided we each needed our own car, so he bought me a 79 Dodge Omni. This thing was a little tank. I could get through anything in this car and it was easy to repair.

1994 Plymouth Sundance.

Electric Blue.

I totally qualified for Pimp my ride, except my car wouldn't have made it there. i had no radio--the last person to have the car took it out when i bought it (for $150) so i bought a CD player and Duct Taped it in!

I LOVED THAT CAR! too bad it died on my way to school one day...

MY first car? '79 Cutlass. A HS graduation gift from Mom & Dad. It was OK - had the best stereo system on the block tahnks to big brother ;)

Favorite car and the one I consider to be my first: Bought myself a brand new 1989 Red Dodge Shadow (edit: same as Plymouth sundance) ... loved it

That's too funny - we posted the same car and both loved them. I wouldn't hesitate to buy my kids one as a first car IF I could find one in mint condition :)

1979 Honda Civic dark green, manual transmission, and I bought it brand new for less than $5000. :drive:

lol. Thanks. I can't afford one! They're "Collector Cars" now. I can't believe the prices they want for a car that cost $1,900 brand new! Mine was light blue like the doors. Best car I ever had in the snow and ice. I used to zip around while everyone else got stuck.

I believe it was 1984 Dodge Colt. :thumbsup2 It ran and it got me to school.

My very first car was 1963 Ford Falcon Convertible. I was 16yo. My parents bought it for me. The car was 7 years old. I  that car so much. My girlfriends and I bombed :drive: around all over town in that car with the top down. It had allot of mechanical problems so I did not have it long.

NEXT CAR:
It was 1969 (I think) Toyota CORONA :car: . My Dad bought it for me. It looked like a SQUARE BOX!! No real style...just a box...all the well I was in high school 1972 and I loved it. I had it until 1974 when I graduated from Junior College and it died on me and I sold it and MA had just incorporated the famous "LEMON LAW" and I thought for sure the people would be calling me to get their money back BUT they never did. :lmao:

My best girlfriend received a 1972 CHEVY VEGA for h.s. graduation. It was bright orange. That was a fun car as well! :teeth:

1972 Ford Pinto. White with black racing stripes, mag wheels, sunroof, rear spoiler, 4 in the floor with a speed clutch.

The sunroof didn't close all the way and the heater didn't work.

My best friend had a Chevy Vega. Talk about cool :rotfl:
