Growing up I watched a lot of game shows and my great grandmother and grandfather used to watch Wheel Of Fortune and Jeopardy and in the mornings my great grandmother would watch The Price Is Right and I watched it with her when I was a little girl and it was fun because my great grandmother would guess the prices and she was really smart. Then when I was older and when Dad would go to work on days when I would stay home from school my mom and I watched Supermarket Sweep and we loved it a lot and then when I was a teen Who Wants To Be A Millionaire became my favorite game show mainly because of Regis Philbin. I also liked Deal Or No Deal too

I remember a kids game show when I was a kid called Shenanigans. I loved the "pie in the eye" part of the game. If I think back to when I was a little older (but still a kid!) it would be Hollywood Squares. I loved seeing all the different celebrities being silly.

Supermarket Sweep, Shop Til You Drop, Shopping Spree, and Masters of the Maze are the non-Nickelodeon game shows I watched growing up (you can tell I watched a lot of The Family Channel )

Nickelodeon shows - Legends of the Hidden Temple, Nickelodeon Arcade, and Family Double Dare are the ones that immediately come to mind.

We watched The Price is Right all the time during the 1970s.

Pluto TV has a game show section with a channel that shows early 80s Price is Right episodes all day long. After you watch it for a while you notice patterns (the prize for the first game is usually a car, they tended to give away the same prizes a lot such as whirlpool spas and appliances, and the second showcase was always better than the first one). Most of the episodes they show are from 1982-1985.
