What was your favorite now closed disney resturant?

Sotolaf: I believe both were Disney operated restaurants.

But when the boat went--they went, along with the Empress Room.

I totally miss Minnie Mia's we ate there so much when I was a kid. Also miss Merryweather's does anyone else remember that? I loved that they had all the stations they had fabulous chicken and the best tuna salad sandwich I've ever had. They also had this crazy delicious fried dough dessert thing.

I also miss when Pecos Bill's had terriyaki burgers and waffle fries YUM!

I remember Merriweather'. It was located on Pleasure Island when they first opened. It was counter service and had really yummy chicken salad with cashews and either grapes or apples. I cant' remember.

I miss the barbecue chicken handwiches at the Lunchin Pad, Ariels, breakfast at Tony's and the Au Petit Cafe. We really miss the Fiesta Fun Center. I remember walking through there every night going back to our room to pick up a cookie and milk for the little guys (who are now very very big guys).

I miss the Odyssey at Epcot. That was always my family's first stop when we got to WDW. We loved the toppings bar with the hot cheese. I still remember how disappointed we felt when we found out they had closed. We went to go eat there but they were closed forever :( Also, Alfredo's is greatly missed. The fettucine alfredo is a heart attack waiting to happen that you just can't help but indulge in. I just want to say that if it had no been for this thread, I would not have known that there is an Alfredo's in NYC! I live in Long Island and had no idea!

I miss the Pocohantas Artist Point Breakfast that later became Pooh and Friends:(
I miss the Gourmet Pantry at DTD
and I want to say RIP all the Foot Long Hot Dogs that used to be in Disney they were so good.

And another RIP white buns at disney world!

We used to love that breakfast at WL. The stuffed french toast, multigrain pancakes yum

We loved the Fireworks Factory at Pleasure Island! We miss it but have fond memories of some delicious dinners and wonderful ice cream sundaes... YUM-YUM!

Fireworks Factory for me as well. I still remember going directly in to the bathroom on my first visit and being startled by a large window directly into the bar area. It was only when I came out and discovered the mirror on the other side that I realized it was one way glass. Freaked me out a little, I'll have to admit!

Top of the World, King Stefans, The Trophy Room(golf resort), and lastly The Tangaroa Terrace(used to have breakfast evey day were were there). But what I REALLY miss was the Welche's Grape Juice stand in Mk!

Unfortunately I never got to eat at most places listed. Would have loved to have tried Alfredo's and Tusker house as CS.

I do miss the old cafeteria in the Land. Specifically the potato/pasta place. Really nice loaded baked potato with all sorts of toppings and a small serving of pasta and sauce to go with it for lunch. YUM!

I don't remember the name of the restaurant--it was in the Poly and where Kona is now. It would of been my first trip--Disney had just opened--and we stayed in Fort Wilderness campground. We were not a family that was able to eat out often. We got dressed up and went to the Poly for a special dinner. Had a burger with a piece of grilled pineapple--seemed very fancy to me.
Anyone remember the name of the place?

All I can think of is the Papeette Bay Verandah.

There was a whole thread devoted to this one.

Breakfast at boatwrights in port orleans resort

I remember every summer having a great cheese steak and a drink with a paper straw at a pool side snack shack/arcade at the poly. I am sure it was just a simple cheese steak sub but it is a memory that has stuck with me for more than thirty years.

I remember this as well. Soooo good. Also:
1. When the snack bar at the Poly had build your own Ice cream sundaes.
2. When Narcoosee's was open for lunch. (Best seafood Nacho's)
3. Fireworks Factory - We went on every trip.
