What was your favorite Happy Meal toy, and from what year?

I was thinking today about how much my daughter loves those Happy Meal toys, and I remembered how much of a treat it used to be to get one. My all time favorite Happy Meal toy that I ever received was actually a set....the Muppet Babies, circa 1986.

I LOVED those! My daughter actually plays with them now My favorite was the Kermit with the skateboard.

So, tell me....what was YOURS?

As I've often told my kids, I'm so old that when I was a kid there was no such thing as a "Happy Meal"!

he was my favorite meal toy.........because of him I have a signature....other wise it would of been a cartoon type one......to me my piggy is cute

I think I like the early ones where the ice cream cone turns into a dinosaur.

I was a teenager when happy meals came out, so I don't have any faves from childhood.

My faves of my kids....those Nemo ones were really cute! Also liked the Monsters Inc ones...

My favorite is the Halloween McNuggets

I also liked the 101 Dalmatians toys. At the time we had a Dalmatian named Jasmine who passed away right before Christmas of that year.

Let's see.. probably the Little Mermaid ones from 1989, the Rescue Rangers ones from 1990(?), or the Snow White ones from 1993. I stopped collecting them after that because 1) I changed my diet and 2) It got too expensive when you had to collect 8-10 toys in a set insteed of 4. Besides, there are so many more worthwhile things you can do with money than buy cheep plastic toys like charity work or such.

I was 8 in 1986, so it wasn't a huge deal to me

I've bought a few sets of Disney McD's toys from e-bay. I think my favorites are a bunch that are based on WDW rides. The only one I can remember right now is a Brer Bear inside a Splash Mt log. I need to get rid of some of these, too.

THESE are my absolute FAVORITES!!!! I have this set (there's a 6th one that I can't remember!!!) and I bring them out EVERY Halloween and put them on one of my shelves!!! I also have the second set of McNuggets for Halloween that included a dragon, alien, rock star, princess and two others I can't remember!! BTW, I was in my 20's when I was running around at Halloween trying to get all the McNuggets!! So THAT's where that extra 50lbs came from!!!!!
