What did you do on your DCL cruise that you would recommend as the best "don't miss" activity? What is your favorite DCL memory?

My favorite activity on my last cruise was the Sailaway Party! :cloud9:

On our most recent cruise, a 7-day, the funnest thing was PUB night in Diversions on the last night of the cruise. The cruise staff puts on the most hillarious skit I've ever seen. Don't miss it!

Sailaway party was my favorite too! I loved seeing DS on DH's shoulders dancing and having a blast!

I agree, English Pub Night was great.

I also have to say the time that Ducky Williams was on our cruise signing his artwork was very special. And then there was seeing Pirates of the Caribbean on the ship, it's hard to pick one thing. :D

I love the count down, hearing the horn, the announcement that we are on our way & watching the confettin fall. I know that is the start of a wonderful vacation.

Sitting on deck 9 beside the Mickey pool with a cup of coffee :cloud9:

My favorite cruise moment was when I went this past July... We were docked next to the Carvnival boat in St. Maarten and they blew their horn once, so we blew ours once, then they blew twice, so we blew twice, so they blew three times, and we pulled out our "When You Wish Upon A Star" horn :) Needless to say, we won that little competition... Heeheehee

I also loved limbo during Tropicalifajulisticexpialidocious (sp?) night!!!

Please! This is a family oriented web site. :teeth:

But my 2nd favorite memory is dining at Palo.

Tropical Deck Party! My dd6 danced and danced and danced and danced. I loved just watching her have the time of her life!!! :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

I confess!

Although we have done three prior cruises with DS7, my favorite memory is now from my most recent cruise, which was a surprise Wonder cruise from DH for our 15th wedding anniversary.

The sail away was so amazing. DH had brought a bottle of champagne, which we iced down in the sink and drank during sail away on the verandah. It was sooooo romantic.

We loved the Pirate Night deck party--we saw the cutest family--Dad, Mom and 3 little girls all wearing their PJs and dancing around on the Deck.

The memories that I will never forget were seeing my brother relax and enjoy the 2-3night cruises we went on as a family. We had planned to do a 7 night together, but he died from cancer this past July. Half of the family went on the 7 night cruise we had booked prior to his diagnosis (shortened to 5 night cruise because of the hurricane); everywhere I turned I remembered how happy we all were, and that life is a precious gift.
