I'm looking for suggestions for our up coming trip. I have stayed in both Aruba and Jamaica and would like to know which room you stayed in and if/why you liked it.

Ohhh ummm...4558 Jamiaca. Great location...close to quiet pool/bus stop and walkway to island. Only bad thing was our air conditioner leaked all over and we had wet carpeting. I would imagine it was fixed shortly after we left.

I would suggest reading the CBR FAQ's listed below. There are a lot of great room suggestions in the posts.

4553 in Jamaica - second floor corner room, overlooking the lagoon and right across from the end of the footbridge over the island. Very short and pleasant walk to Old Port Royale, and the bus stop was just behind us across the parking lot. Illuminations fireworks were visible from the walkway. Also a very quiet location - we hardly knew there was anyone else in the entire resort.

Thanks everyone, just to let you know we stayed in Aruba 5317. It had a king bed/non-smoking just around the corner from the pool. It was a pleasant walk to the island and not too far from the bus.
Would like something in bldg 52 on the ground for next time. Let me know!

will you let me know when you get back? Have fun! :wave2:

Jamaica 4245 and we loved it! DH and I went for our honeymoon in April 04. It was a 2nd floor, king bed, with a view of the lake. And a small pool very close by. We would stay there again anytime but we will be at POP in October.

Perfect room Jamaica 4427, you are on the first floor DIRECTLY outside of the quiet pool, so you were about 10 steps away from the pool, and could see if it was crowded or not, and the food court and everything was a very short walk from there as well. We lucked out with that room

We stayed in 4504 Jamaica building in December 2004. Pretty close to the bus stop and a little walk to old port royale. It was o.k. We didn't spend much time there....very quiet.

Hi there,

We visited for 14nights back in 98, we were due to be booked for somewhere esle at the CBR but we were changed at the last minute. We ended up in Aruba Bldg 54, which was fantastic, just across from the Bus stop. Excellent location.

We were in Aruba 5418 on our last trip. I thought the location was great. We were close to a bus stop and only about a 5-10 min. (depending on how fast you walk) walk to Old Port Royale. I would stay there again. :goodvibes

We were at CBR the second week of June. Our room number was Aruba 5103. We loved the location of this room. The room was on the ground floor, which is a must for us when there are no elevators. Also, the room is a short walk from the parking, without being too close. Too close would get a little noisy.

We were also very close to the bridge to cross over to Port Royal. That helped when going to the food court or theme pool.

We were also close to the Jamaica quiet pool and laundry facility.

We were not close to a bus stop, about half way between the bus stop for Jamaica and Aruba. But, when you are trying to get close to so many things, (bus stop, food court, private pool, parking), one of them is going to have to be a little bit of a walk.

Also, building 51 in Aruba is the only building at CBR that has smoking rooms. So, if you request a smoking room, this is the building that you will be in.

The only thing that would have made it nicer is if it was a corner room. But, that's a bonus for me and not a deal breaker.

We were in Jamaica 4527 in June. It was perfect! We had a view of the river, were right by the bridge to parrot cay, close to the quiet pool, and the bus stop was a quick walk.
