If you had one, what was your buyer incentive and when did you buy in??

I don't remember anything about an incentive when we purchased, because we didn't purchase at the time we toured. I think we got an ice cream sundae though!;)

CRAP, i forgot the sundae! We also got a picture of us in front of the DVC logo....the sundae was ok....but a little overpriced ($16000) :rotfl2:

...almost 11 years ago, the only incentive we got was to have prepaid vacations at OKW until 2042.

:rotfl:

My incentive was the seller paid all closing and fees!! We did get a $100 Disney money after the tour, but that didn't save us enough!:goodvibes

We purchased 9/1/07...had all the paperwork rolling, just waiting for us when we got there(WDW) we received Double Incentive Points which have worked out tremendously for us!!

I don't remember getting any incentive, so if we did, it couldn't have been anything exciting, not even a sundae.

We bought in 1994 so I don't remember any price cut. It wasn't near as expensive as now. We did get free park passes for 1/2 the number in the room we booked. For instance, GV for 12, we got 6 park passes for the length of stay. Back then, we had daily passes so we got 6x the number of days we stayed. I really don't remember how much we paid per point.

for my first contract I got I think 15 off per point at SSr in May 2005. For my newer contract I got 8 per point and vouchers for 2 annual passes (SSR august 2006)

Our biggest incentive was in Nov 2007. We have a December use year. While at SSR, we added on 160pts, got the $10 off per pt, received 160 developer pts, and received December 06 pts to bank.

It really worked out well for us. Plus, we received our ice cream in the end. :cool1:

Initial buy-in September 2006: $10.00 off per point plus additional $5.00 off per point for 15th Anniversary Friends and Family promotion, ice cream sundae and $100.00 Disney gift certificate. Add-On August 2007: Double developer points, 2006 and 2007 points.

My incentive was DW saying "let's go ahead and buy" three years after touring in 1995 and going to WDW 3 years in a row.

I didn't even get an ice cream sundae... we did ours from home.

My incentive.... the excitement and look on my families face every time we return "Home at OKW".... PRICELESS.

We bought in 1995 and our incentive was free park tickets through 1999. Plus we got a nice tote bag to haul away all the closing documents. ;)

We bought 225 points in November at Disneyland.

160 points: 8 dollars off a point OR 160 developer points

200 points: 8 dollars off a point OR 160 developer points AND 2
free annual passes to WDW or DL

225 points: 8 dollars off a point AND 160 developer points AND 2
free annual passes for WDW or DL with a referral from a present DVC member in good standing.

Since we bought our contract at DL we also received founding members or first rights to purchase at the new GCV being built at DL.

We received a 100 dollar gift card for taking the tour.

It was Friends & Family $15 off at SSR, December '06. Brought the per point cost to $86 per point. Didn't receive any extra points or anything though.

Bought in Aug 07. Double incentive points (which we are using for our upcoming 2 week trip in Feb) and $500 Woodfield Mall (at the Doorway to Dreams store in Schaumburg, IL) gift card. I got all my DS7's Lego Xmas presents for FREE this year, on Disney!:yay:
