Can anyone tell me what their room only rate at the Contemporary Tower Club was in May using an AP rate or a code? I'm just trying to get an idea of what the price may be with those rates as opposed to the Disney Club rate. Thanks.

The code rate I got for a tower room at the CR in May was $365. The tower club 12th floor was $450.

You'd get the same percentage off of the tower club as a tower room would get.

We went over New Year's, and our room rate was $560 with tax. We were happy with the room and service, but, at that price, it was not worth it (I don't think ANY room at Disney was worth it during holiday season).

CaliforniaDreaming, I'm guessing that was the regular rack rate with no AP discounts or any codes, right? Too steep for me. Wouldn't the rates for May be different from the holiday season?

Correct, that was a holiday season rack rate. You'll probably be able to get it around $350/night in May (with tax) with a code or AP rate. :)

I'm booking mine now, at the regular rate. When the AP (Fingers crossed) rate or discount code becomes available...can I call and apply this to my reservation? Also...please PM me if you hear/read anything before moi! LOL! TIA! ;)

df, I'll be sure to PM you the moment I hear about July discounts. :) So, did you decide 12th or 14th floor? If 14th, I honestly think rack rate will be the best rate you'll get for it. :)

Anymore rates to share????? I'm curious about AP rates/codes for the month of May.

I think I MAY request the 14th floor...I'm calling again tomorrow. I'll check the big diffs between the 12-14th, etc. I'll also ask about discounts, and if they are ever offered/applied to the 14th fl. rooms (prob. not). I appreciate your assistance with this...ILYK what I reserve! ;)

In 2001, we paid $259 plus tax for a tower club room over Memorial Day.
