What Was Your 4th Fastpass? No debates!

When you go to a kiosk, what does the screen show you? Do you see a list of all available attractions and then you have to click on one you might want to see the available times?

Also, I know others have asked, but can you pick an attraction in another park if you have a hopper ticket, or do you have to go to that park?

System is designed to keep you around longer. The "suggested" time might bring in dinner $ and more than a few will simply accept it.

Yeah, I'm curious if you even can change the "suggested" time like you can when you schedule them in advance, but it seems people are booking one time at the kiosk, then going back and changing it via their phone.

You see a list of all available attractions (with scrolling)

Once you click on the attraction, it lists the available time slots. You can use a back button if none of them work for you to return to the list of attractions.

The only attractions available are the ones in the park you are in currently. As soon as you go to another park, you can change your FP to something in that park at the kiosk.

Would need to know how long after the inital booking was. If there was time between the booking and the change on the app, it could be as simple as someone dropped their 4:15 for something else. If they changed right after leaving the kiosk, it could be a a bunch of reasons that will be debated on here.

I thought about that too, but I've seen multiple reports of the same thing- booking their next FP+ for a few hours later at a kiosk, then going right in on their phone and being able to get it within a half hour or so, sometimes minutes.

It could also be that they don't want you backing up traffic at the kiosks by agonizing over times.

Has anyone tried making a time at a kiosk and then going to a different kiosk (or signing in again at the same one) to change the time?

Thanks. I wonder if that's one of those things that could change in the future. It would be a neat feature.

Don't remember standby wait for Buzz, sorry.

Report-
DHS
#4- Star Tours. Booked at 2:45 for 6:50-7:50 as leaving and coming back for F!

Toy Story was not available for any time.

Played around with fourth FPP on app at 4:35. It let me see all the available times for Star Tours. I got all the way through to the confirm screen for 7:00-8:00, but decided to keep my 6:50 slot.

Waited for about 3 minutes in kiosk line by Muppets 3D.

I'll update once we use it :)

Does anyone know why it doesn't just give you the 4:15 time at the kiosk instead of having to take a later time and then go back in and change it?

We got a Laughing Floor FPP for 6 minutes later and a Buzz FPP for 10-15 minutes later (check my report), so the system doesn't force later times. Also, today FPP for Star Tours was available at 2:45 for 3:45, but we wanted the later time as we were leaving the park.

We had previously had prebooked FPP for both Buzz and Star Tours, so you can do repeats.

Great idea for the thread, and I love reading all the responses. We leave in less than 3 weeks :goodvibes, and this helps calm me down about FP+!!!!!

another question for those who did this: did you have to USE all 3 fp? what if you skip using one that you had booked, can you still register for a 4th if the last one's time has passed?

Sorry, didn't mean that it forced later times, but there have been a few people that said they could only get a time a few hours out at a kiosk, but then could immediately switch it to an earlier time using the app. I wonder if it has something to do with the number of FP+'s available as it seems this has happened more often at the more "popular" rides.

Ok I'm going to try to clarify here...

After I have used all 3 pre issued FP+ I can go to a kiosk. Pick an attraraction then login to the app and I then have the ability to change the time of this attraction if other time slots now show them selfs. I'm wondering if you can swap the attraction too...

I'm just thinking it is you could go to the kiosk pick what every comes up first then login to the app and look at what is open in a more relaxed way I know for me the thought someone is waiting behind me I I muddle through my choices will make me feel awkward.

Yes you can also change the attraction afterwards on your phone. It acts like all your original FP+, you can change the attraction, or time.

Question for those who are posting reports. Just to add some perspective, what were crowds levels like when you reserved your additional FP+? I'm wondering if the lineup at the kiosks is going to be significantly worse once the summer crowds start arriving.

I absolutely planned on obtaining a 4th fp.... even a 5th on occasion during our trip last week.... honestly - I never needed a single one!!
We rope dropped. Had smart original FP choices a d didn't wait more than 10 minutes in any line!!!

Man, I wish they would just let you book the FPs on a smart phone instead of waiting in line at a kiosk. I don't understand why you can't when the app is how I'm going to book them at the 60 day mark.

I can't remember all the time details, but we've been doing 4-6 per day. We could have done more (quite a few more), but skip anything that seriously does not require a FP. We've booked things like Rockin RC, Tower of Terror, Big Thunder, Space Mountain, etc.

EDIT: I should probably also add that we book our original three late morning/early afternoon. We are major park hoppers and generally hop 3-4 times daily, though between 2-3 different parks (thus hopping from and back to the same park sometimes).

This is a great thread! (no debates ftw) We leave tomorrow :yay: and I've learned a lot of useful information from the last 4 pages. Thanks!

Saturday, May 3rd, 3:03 pm, Hollywood Studios, 4th FP+, everything but Toy Story available, chose Rock N Roller Coaster for 8:20pm, ToT would have been 7:55pm, could not change to an earlier time via attendant or immediately following on my phone, could change it to Fantasmic or Beauty and the Beast on my phone, 20 minutes later was able to move up the time to 7:50.

Edit: wait at kiosks was about 2 minutes.
