August 1-5, this year. I have not been to WDW over Christmas, New Years or Easter.

I will go in April if Easter is in March or very early in April.

No question - July 1987. There were only two parks, it was 9,000 degrees at 10:00 PM, MK was open 'til 1:00 AM. The entire populations of Brazil and Japan decided to hit the MK the same time we did, rides were going down left and right and the monorail broke down at midnite. It was shoulder to shoulder sweat in umpteen languages.

The next day tropical storm Bob blew through and I had to fight off a South American travel group TWICE - they tried to steal our newly-purchased ponchos right out of my hand as I left the shop. When I grabbed them back, their tour LEADER tried to take them from me. Very strange.

I'll never go in July again.

We went once during Spring Break (I think it was late March that year) and will never go during that time again. The first of August was also very busy and VERY HOT. We've been in Sept., Nov., early Dec., early May and early June and have found all these times to be pleasant. We have had 'surprising' cool fronts in Nov. and extreme heat in May, but all in all it was very manageable.

APRIL! We went to WDW in April 1989 and I've never been in April since then. It was awful, lines were ridiculous. Of course it was during April vacation but never ever again will I go during that month.

For the Premier of Wishes and there were also 2 spectros, it was
the craziest I have ever seen it, and that includes Xmas day also.
There were alot of contributing factors besides Wishes and Spectro. Epcot closed at 3pm, it was also the beginning of Presidents weekend. We waited for 3 boats to get back to WL, but Wishes was incredible.

I voted the Christmas eve-NY answer. On Christmas day last year, we went to MK just to see how many people were there.
It was crowded enough that it was a bit difficult to navigate the streets in the park(especially Main Street right after the afternoon parade):earseek:

I've only been to WDW once so far, in mid-October 2000. I was shocked how crowded it was, considering school was in session and there weren't any holidays nearby. I remember standing in line for Splash Mountain for over 2 hours, and not being able to find a spot of sidewalk to stand on during the Lion King parade. :earseek:

We're going to Disney over Christmas this year, and I am a little apprehensive about the crowds. But, as I heard a wise man once say, "A crowded day at Disney is still better than a day at work!" So true.. ::yes::

We have been at WDW during Thanksgiving week and on NYE and the week after NYE. NYE was crowded but nothing like Thanksgiving day. On the year we were there, MK stop taking guests at around 11 AM and did not start admitting new gues to that afternoon and the other parks were near capacity.

The bus driver told us there were 54000 people in the Magic Kingdom that night - as many as on the 4th of July the previous year. it was AWEFUL!
