What was that stain remover made with Cascade?

I read a thread recently with this miracle stain remover recipe that had Cascade Dishwasher Detergent in it...any clues? Can't find a thing with the new search feature.

Its funny that you should talk about stain removers. I constantly see the commercial for the tide stick and always think to myself I wonder if that works or not. Well I just got back from a trip to Disney with my boyfriend and his family and his mom bought us the tide stick. Boy was I surprised.. It works wonders!! It took permant sharpie pink marker off a white shirt and it took chocolate and vanilla melted ice cream off a white shirt. I was so impressed with how it worked. I applied it once let it dry then applied it again and the stain was gone...Definitly worth the buy!!

Cascade makes a plastic cleaner that you use in the dishwasher. It is supposed to remove smells/discoloration of plastic wear.

I use the cascade plastic booster every time I run my dishwasher. It works miracles on plastic. It really does remove any stains and oders (including sauce and coffee). Unfortunately the only place I can find it any more is Wal-Mart.

How do you bookmark a thread as mentioned above. Do you mean to just subscribe to it? ALso, I am looking for something to remove red dirt stains from my sons baseball pants & socks. Anyone have any suggestions. If not I will try the ones listed in the other thread.

Check the label on dishwasher detergent. Many have bleach in them. This makes them great for stains on whites but not so good on colors..trust me...I ruines 2 navy blue t-shirts, a pair of shorts and a green t-shirt.

I don't know what thread it is...but plain old cascade powder,dissolved in warm water,-if you soak clothes, even colors in my experience, it removes all old,yucky stains,even ones from last years clothes just pulled out!
