Well my fondest moment is when I was bonding with my family during SM. Hearing and seeing the fireworks made me feel so good. Seeing the looks on my brothers face and seeing my parents smile warmly at eachother. It was like "Wow...magic is real"

My fondest memory is my parents, my DH, and I meeting in Mexico to have a margarita and nachos and wait for Illuminations to start. My dad was such a penny pincher, but when it came to margaritas in Mexio, money was not object. :teeth:

We all love WDW, and this is one of my fondest memories!! Now that my dad is no longer with us anymore, I will always look at the Cantina are in Mexico with the fondest memories and remembering how much my dad loved it there and how much fun we all had while I was growing up.

:wave2:

Remembering how excited my Dad was to take us there. He went while on a business trip and couldn't talk about anything else after he got back. I always got to ride the roller coasters with my Dad at theme parks and getting even a few minutes of alone time with him was very special. Makes me smile just thinking about it.

WDW always reminds me of my Dad! He loved WDW and took us there several times. He was so great! I just remember the joy he would have in his face when we'd walk through the gates. Such special memories to me!

xAmarisx- Just wanted to say a quick hello from right up Route 9 (I live in Poughkeepsie now). Such a small world afterall.

My fondest memories are definitely relaxing with my family and getting to see my parents have such a great time.

My fondest memory was celebrating my 16th birthday at the Magic Kingdom in 1977. We had dinner at Cinderalla's castle and when the restaurant dimmed the lights for the fireworks I thought I was the luckiest girl in the world. My parents knew how much I loved Disney and they made that day one I will never forget.

The time my DW and I spent in WDW near X-mas time being able to see and hear the sights and the sounds. Being able to attend MVMCP and getting photos with Donald Duck.:thewave:

My fondest memory was my disney wedding!! My dad was a big disney fan as a child but his 1st visit was in Dec 2000 at my wedding so this made it even more special!!!!princess:

I thought this would be touch, because I have been to WDW so many times, but it really wasn't.

Last May, I took my grandmother, who I am very close to, to WDW. She hadn't been there since she took my uncle back in 1973 when he was a teen! That was pretty much the last vacation she went on. She is a breast cancer survivor (3 years), but unfortunately, has Parkinson's. I rented an ECV for her and we stayed on property. At 78, she could not spend hours on end in the parks, but we did what we could.

Two events stand out in my mind - when we were waiting to get on the Haunted Mansion (they had to stop the ride for her), she was telling the CM who was waiting with us about how long it had been since she had visited, etc... The second one was later that evening, after we had dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern. We were waiting in the HC area for Spectro, talking with other guests. When the parade passed us, and I saw the look on her face, I realized that this was the best trip ever and worth every penny.

WDW sure is my favorite vacation destination!::MickeyMo

But since I just had my Dad over for a visit, I will say all of the camping trips at Ft Wilderness...very happy times!

Taking my 2 DS for the very 1st time! It was something I had always dreamed of from my days as being a little boy going with my parents. Just seeing the expressions on their faces and the excitement made it a very memorial moment. You can kinda view the park through their eyes and it makes you feel like a young kid all over again!!!

to WDW and finally did it last December. Everything was perfect!
WISHES was awesome.
The moment I'll always remember?
(I am a Cindy fan):

At Cinderella's Royal Table, I "misted over" when Cinderella approached. I could hardly talk when she was at our table I was so thrilled. She could see I was choked up and took my hand in hers and said, "I am so glad to be a part of making your dreams come true."

That was it. I could go home. It was all I needed.

You guys have shared some awesome memories. I think my fondest memory is the one and only trip that my family took together when I was a teenager. We only spent one day at the Magic Kingdom but it was a good day. My brother has since passed away so our whole family will never be able to go again so I will always cherish that one day we had together sharing the magic. :)

We have been to WDW many many times. It is my sons favorite place in the world and he is 24 years old now. There is one scene I get in my mind everytime I think of DisneyWorld. Me, my husband, my mom, my sister, my Dad and my son were at Downtown Disney sitting outside having a drink. I took a picture. It is my favorite picture in the whole world. The only word I have to describe the looks on everyone's face is peace. I always try to think of that picuture when facing hard times.

I remember going with my parents when I was 11 for the first time. Coming from good old England we had NEVER experienced anything like Disney and I just remember how we all had our mouths open the whole time!!!

I also remember my mum (planning freak) getting us up at the crack of dawn to get to the parks early. At the time I just wanted to sleep, but now I've turned into that planner I 110% understand why :teeth:

We just got back so I have some very fresh memories that I'm sure will last forever. I have two favorites - 1. Watching the look on DS4's face as the giant wave starts at Typhoon Lagoon and the excitement as it's coming closer. At the last minute DH or I would sweep him up so the the wave would catch the bottom of his feet. We were literally there for hours - but so worth it. 2. Watching DS14 laugh straight thru the Hoop DeDu Revue at all the corny jokes and skits. He's been at that stage the last few months where everything is to "cool" for him. Seeing him let out those belly laughs made me choke up - (DH was to busy stuffing his face to notice much).

My husband and I have custody of his son, my stepson and one year when he was just 3 we decided to go to Disney World and the joy I got from my stepson (who I refer to as my son a lot because I have raised him since 6 months of age) who was having a ball and loving every minute of it.

Also shortly after I had my son we went to WDW and at the character meals he was a little afraid (being only 10 months old) and pluto was "licking" him and he sat there happily letting pluto do so!

Having a whole friendship sing happy birthday to DH, catching the most bass on the family fishing trip and seeing the look on dh and the 3 ds faces and having ds be allowed to drive the boat back from the mk to the poly once. OK, he did have the captain right behind/next to him. Watching little ds in the parades and oldest ds in the flights of wonder show.
