DH knew that I wanted a digital camera for Xmas, one of my own. etc. So yesterday we are out Xmas shopping and we were looking at camera's and he asked me if that was the one that I wanted, I said that one would be fine. He went ahead a bought it. We get home and he has it in his hand and his heading up to his office with it. I thought he was just going to put it there until Xmas.. I go upstairs and there he sits, just about ready to open it up and start playing with it! :sad2: I said what do you think your doing? He said well I want to try it out and use it to make my new web site... I said if you open it , it is your's! :lmao: :lmao: I have a feeling I've lost my camera before I even got it! Those pearls I have my eye on are starting to look real nice... :teeth:

LOL, well he was just going to make sure it works!! :rotfl: :rotfl: Nothing more disappointing than waking up on Christmas morning and finding out that you gift doesn't work. If he uses the camera now to make the website, then he will have gotten to use all of the bells and whistles. He would have fiddled with every knob and button. So, then he would know that it works!! And you wouldn't be disappointed on Christmas Day!

That, my friend, is exactly what he was thinking :rotfl: :rotfl:

:rotfl2: Oh, well, easy come, easy go!!! He gets the camera, you get the pearls!!

 I did the same thing, almost, to DS14. He got a digital camera last spring and it takes nicer pictures then mine and has a better viewing screen so I use it more then he does  .

:rotfl: Haha, I think you've lost your Christmas camera.

This reminds me of the time my Dh bought our first PC, back in the days when that was very uncommon. I couldn't imagine why we needed one,but DH had an ironclad argument--I could use a PC to store my recipes :rotfl: He really thought that was the winning score. Hah! I have yet(20yrs later) to store the first recipe on any computer.

DH does this with every gadget we get. I told him that I wanted an mp3 player of my own for Christmas and he said what's wrong with the one you have? HA! It's one that HE wanted and knows how to work. Whenever we get something new, he opens it, reads the instructions, plays with it, throws everything away...box, instructions, etc. and I never can figure out how to use it. It is so aggravating!!!!

Maybe he saw the salesman my parents saw. DMom was taking a programming class, and the salesman told her she could keep all her recipies on it.

...just playing around when i came across this... from the other
side of the fence , me> :smokin: [well, we are in fantasy
land?]...

let me guess, you caught him before, playing with kids' toys on
christmas eve?...but isn't this expected? i always play..err , tested
my wife's gifts...don't want her disappointed on christmas morning... :teeth:

however, what i thought was the most interesting {educational} part,
ws the pearls....so that what my lil miss cutie been doing thru all
the years...setting me up..for pearls?,,,,isn't that what one would
called ..manipulation....

just curious ( & a lil george), ...plez let us know if you ended up
with the pearls...betcha ....you keep this input secret? :joker:

<these responses were...educational, indeed!>

by the way..merry christmas! pixiedust:

always better to ask for a pearl necklace than electronics - esp when dealing with your husband. I'd worry about a man who'd prefer a pearl necklace over a new digital camera!
