What was better? Alien vs Stitch

What was better, Alien Encounter or the new Stitch attraction?

We didn't see much difference between the two. Didn't care for either.

Good question.
I think Alien was better. At least that created suspense and talk.
It seemed to scare adults more so than kids, from what I saw.

They are the SAME THING with a different spin.


You know this is just the kind of attraction that when you do it the first time, it's really cool (at least I think) but after that it's just not the same, ever, no matter what spin they put on it.

Alien Encounter was better, hands-down.

AE was imaginative, subtle, and more than a little subversive in its humor. On top of a great story, it also had excellent effects, and tons of high-power acting talent (Jefferey Jones, Kathi Nijimy, Tim Curry).

Stitch is AE with all the best parts ripped out and replaced with sloppy inferior parts. Stitch is a classic Detroit muscle car that's been repainted with latex house paiont and had a Honda 4-cylinder engine put under the hood; it just ain't the same!

AE totally scared the bejeepers out of me! I just remember screaming and really feeling like someone something was there near me!
I always say it was horrible because it made me react this way... my DH says the ride was great because it did what it was supposed to do, scare the bejeepers out of people! Hmmmm
So given that I will never say I "liked" it and since I vowed I would never do AE again, I can now do Stitch and "maybe" say I like that!

I loved AE and have not yet been on Stitch. But after reading many of the not so great reviews I'm pretty sure I'll be disappointed yet again that they took down AE

I think that the addition of an Alien we all know is much better than the unknown Alien of before. I mean, it couldn't have gotten any worse, right?
