I have 2 rooms booked on the 14th fl. One room has a king size bed the other has 2 queens. What sort of views can I expect??? Thanks, I am soooo excited!!
Contemporary Resort rooms offer two views: Magic Kingdom view (across the resort parking lot) or Bay Lake view. Either one is terrific, although most people (obviously) prefer the MK view.
If I am not mistaken there are only 2 regular (non-suite) rooms on the 14th floor with MK view and 1 of them (I believe it is the king room) is a handicapped accessible, so has no real shower. There are 2 on the bay view side also (which is pretty spectacular also IMHO) and I believe both of those are regular (not HC rooms)
Did you ask for adjoining or connecting rooms when you booked? If so, there are 2 rooms next to each other that fit your bedding. 4912 & 4913. I don't know if they are simply side by side or if they have an interior connecting door. These rooms are on the MK view side. There are a total of 5 non-suite rooms on the 14th floor. The only one on the Bay Lake view side is 4905 with 2 queen beds. The handicapped room is 4915 with 2 queen beds.
I'm pretty sure that they lock you into a room when you book because they only have a few. Your contact in the IPO department may be able to give you your room information already.
Who did you call, CRO or the concierge pre-planning department of the Contemporary? Whoever it was, I think they gave you the wrong information in this case. I'd try calling back and ask them to look at your reservation to see whats noted.
