I remember Disney did not renovate the North Garden Wing when the rest of CR was done. It was the first DVC clue.

Does anyone think the South Garden wing will eventually be replaced by a tower?

I just don't think that the real estate is there on the other Garden Wing.
The area that BLT now occupies is far enough away from the building not to visually compete 'and win' with the Contemporary. I think if they were to raze the other wing - a 3rd tower type structure would be too much visually, especially since the convention center is on that side as well.

For those that haven't seen it - there is already a rumored new DVC resort planned near Fort Wilderness.

There are even some 'leaked' designs around the web somewhere - I've seen them.

There was a large tennis club with quite a few courts.

It's odd, but, if you go to the Maps section of Bing.com, you can zoom in on BLT. As you scroll left and right it will transition to an old aerial shot of the Garden Wing being demolished.

I'm not sure what you are referring to, but I was answering the question about tennis courts being there (in addition to the north garden wing.

I remember the north garden wing section. We stayed there on our honeymoon in 1990. Also, the dinner show they had up at the top of the resort. It was like a Broadway type dinner show. It was where California Grill is now. And I remember back then the buses had a color code system. Red, Blue and I believe yellow.
