what unheard of sports do you play?

i met an exchange student from germany that does a sport with cross-country skiing and rifle shooting in one.

i play Disc golf (just wondering who else plays disc golf?)

I don't play any sports, and I haven't heard of any crazy sports around where I live.

But I've heard of chess boxing, hahaha!

In middle and high school I did Dressage. Its a sport within horseback riding. Nobody had any idea what it was, they were all like "so do you race?"

Its in the olympics, and it is where you and the horse have to do a pattern while keeping calm, smooth, and collected. Its extremely hard to do correctly (just like any sport within riding I believe...) and a ton of fun. It will beat you up though, the highest score I ever recieved was a 74% (out of 100).

I do curling
it's a mostly canadian sport where they roll these huge stones across ice and try to get it in a target at the end of the ice rink it's on the olympics yet like none of my friends have ever heard of it

We have a curling club in Fairbanks ... it's fairly popular up here.

The sport with the x-country skiing & rifle shooting is the Biathalon in the Olympics.

We go ski jouring but it's not an official sport (it's where you have a dog or two pull you along while you're on x-country skiis ... sorta like a version of dogsledding without a sled).

We've also dogsledded a lot although we don't own a team. We have several friends with their own dog teams ... it's fun!!

i horse back ride also! but im not into Dressage yet1 although we learned about it, Im too busy at this point but, when i have free time i might try it out! .....Well should i i just started this year, and have done 2 shows,
First one i got 5,6,7,7
Second, i got 2,2,5,6,3

Aww those are awesome especially for your first two shows. I showed 8th-11th grade, but I rode since 5th grade. I love riding. I tried out for the college team but didn't make it, there were only 3 alternate positions available and like 10 people tried out. Its all good though. Good luck, and definitely try some dressage. It is the foundation of almost every discipline. Just like physics is the foundation to all sciences, Dressage is the foundation to all riding. Even a few lessons will help you out immensely

this is random and not really a sport
but if anyone has seen the movie YES MAN i just like the character Zooey Deschanel go on long (3-5 mile) jogs while photographing the scenary around me. so i guess its a combo of photography and running?

Im not completly weird I play club volleyball as well so i guess that makes me normal
