I am renting points for the 1st time on this trip and staying at the BW Villas. I stayed onsite at a WDW property before, but I feel like I dont know what Im doing.

Is check in still at the same spot and goes pretty much the same way? We get in around 1pm, do you think they will let us check in?

And the room keys and charge options are the same??? And can I take care of my passes when I arrive too? (Buy or add days)

I'm nervous that I had an oversight and totally missed something that will totally botch my short trip.

And...where are the villas located? Are they over a store below. Thanks for your help!

Yes: Check-in is at the same place and works roughly the same way as if you're staying in the regular hotel rooms in the BoardWalk Inn. While it is possible that a room might be ready at 1PM, the stated check-in time is 4PM. Room key and charge options are the same. The ability to purchase passes as well. The villas are about 2/3 of the resort, on the side closest to the Swan.

Take a deep breath. Staying at a DVC resort is very much the same as a non-DVC resort. You check in at the same place, you charge the same way, the same dollar amounts are on your room charge...usually $1500 since it's a deluxe. I would imagine that you will be dropped off at the main entrance. When you enter those two sets of doors, head off to the left and you will see the check-in area. Then you will keep going to the left when you go to your villa. You are going to find that you will love it there. This is where we own and it truly is like 'home' to us. Have a great time!!!

You can check-in at 1:00pm. If your room is not ready, they will give you your key cards and everything else plus a card with a number to call later to get your room #. When your room is ready, you can go straight to your room, you will not have to stop back at the desk.

Have a great time!

When you check in at the desk at the BW, the villas are to the right and the inn is to the left (facing check in). There are lots of villas, so prepare to hike. May take you days to get to your villa. (Actually that's just a joke between OKW and BWV owners.) :goodvibes

We drive to florida every visit and usually call 2 hours before we get in the area and have been able to check in as early as 11am and as late as 5pm.It generally depends on time of year. I think the norm is somewhere in between,as long as you dont request any special cleaning .My son has allergies and I ask that they not us carpet fresh in rooms. They have used this as an excuse to hold us up.So now we just take our chances and bring an airfilter.

Last time there checked in at 1030 am room was ready. That was in May. :Pinkbounc
