What type of Purse or bag do you use?

While it is not very attractive I use a rather large fanny pack. It has two places to hold water bottles and holds all the other stuff I need. I tried a small backpack once, but it was too much trouble when getting on and off rides. With the fanny pack I can just swing it around front when I get on a ride. I like having my hands free.

Just think, days now not months........

I always use a backpack. For me, I haven't had any issues with getting on and off rides, but I always make sure it's only hanging on one shoulder by the time I get to boarding, then it's easy to deal with. Like the above poster, I like the free hands thing.

Lowepro Slingshot 200 hold my camera gear and has a top pocket to store stuff if needed. usually my pass and fast passes are in the ticket holder on a lanyard, and my wallet is in my pocket.

Backpack purse. I love it. It fits into the bag holders on rides like Indy, or over my knee on Space. It holds everything we'll need for the day except swetshirts.

I use a small dive box on a lanyard. Holds tickets, fastpasses & ID. My phone goes in my pocket. Nice and easy.

I agree with the "hands free" option. Started using a backpack purse when I started having kids. I use a daypack at Disney. I can carry water, light sweaters, hand wipes, chapstick, sunscreen, all the needs. And, for the fp's and annual pass I have the clip-on AP holder sold at the park. So, then I'm not always getting into the pack. And still hands free. One thing that makes me think about a fanny-pack is the fact that my camera can be readily available. I still have not made that move, they just look so dorky, sorry friends.

I agree my fanny pack is Dorky but it works and stuff is easy to grab like the camera.

I bought a fanny pack that has an adjustable strap so it can also be worn over the shoulder. I'll find out next weekend how well it works.

I use a drawstring backpack to hold keys, camera, jacket, water.. Light and easy for me. My money, ID and AP go in my pin lanyard.

I have tried a little of everything each year. This year I finally found what works for me... no purse.... cargo pants. Of course, I had to reduce what I carry but it is so worth it to not carry much of anything! I got a long neck strap for my camera for when I want to keep it out. Otherwise, it fits in one of the pockets, along with my room key, annual pass, credit card, and money. That's it for me. It took me a while to get over the pockets making my hips look big but comfort and convenience have finally won out! I am now one of those recognizable geeky tourists wearing cargo pants and crocs.

Well, I have 2 kids. In February we brought a backpack that hung off the back of the stroller.

Before kids, I just stuffed everything in my pockets.

I take a "Roots" side bag. Has two outside pockets for the cell phone and camera and all the "important" stuff goes on the inside. Not too big....not too small. Any other stuff (jackets, water bottles, hats, etc) get put in an outside locker during the day. It's worth it to me to spend the $6 or so for a locker and not have to carry all the big stuff around all day.

I actually use the Coach Swingpack. If I reduce my wallet down to the card only option (which I opt for in the park anyways) I can fit my camera, iPod, wallet, travel sized Rolaids, Bayer and Dramamine and chap stick. I would never have even though of using this bag if it wasn't available through a reward program at my work. But it's the perfect size for across the chest, over the arm or (my favorite) an updated fanny pack

And I just want to say that although I personally won't use a traditional fanny pack I NEVER make fun of or give people a hard time about using them at the park. They were made for a reason...to keep things in one place and on the body so you can be hands free. How often do you hear that from a 22 year old?

When my husband and I would go to Disneyland once a week...I'd usually just bring a purse. I only carried my wallet, kleenex, and water in it. But now that we live far away we spend full days in the park as opposed to just a few hours. I typically bring a smallish blue backpack. It's not girly so my husband and i take turn carrying it. It can be somewhat of a hassle to dig stuff out of it and get on and off rides. And wearing it when it's hot out is awful.

We were there at the end of August when it was 108 degrees out so I gave in and bought a Disneyland fannypack. I look like a total nerd but I don't really care. The only problem is...it's HUGE. It's adjustable and I made it the smallest it will go but it's still too big for my waist. I didn't realize this until we took it back to the hotel and cut the tags off. So we just wrap a hair rubberband around the strap to make it fit me. I might try to find one that fits me better when we're there next week. The one I have only came in one size so I don't know why it doesn't fit me. The only downside is that it doesn't fit my waterbottle in it...whereas the backpack does. But my back doesn't get sore wearing the fannypack so that's a huge plus.

I tried something new this time that worked really well. I brought a small back pack with diapers, wipes, sunblock, small snacks etc. that I could shove in the basket under the DL stroller. I kept cash, and credit card on my person (pockets) I was able to be totally hands-free for all rides and shows, which was great, especially 'cause I have a Houdini 2 year old that I really actually need several extra sets of hands for.

I left my backpack with the stroller....I figured if someone wanted to steal my diapers...hey...more power to 'em!!
