What type of perks do you get with the Disney Visa card?

I understand that Disney Visa gives some perks, discounts, etc., for their cardholders. What kind of discounts, etc., do they give? Is it worth the hassle of an additional credit card?

So far nothing too spectacular. There is alot of disappointment in the card on The Dis. Myself included.

Most offers include:

• Discounted room and package rates at WDW and DL. These are usually the same discounts which are offered to the general public but with a different code and a different group of rooms set aside.
• Discounts at Disney's Vero Beach and Hilton Head Resorts
• Discounted tickets for stage productions of The Lion King, Beauty & the Beast and Aida in New York
• The DCL often gives an onboard ship credit (usually around $50 per cabin) for book a cruise and paying for it with the Disney VISA
• Special "members only" limited edition pins and other collectibles
• Discounted tickets for Disney on Ice
• Discounts at Disneystore.com
• Double and triple points for purchases at your local Disney Store
• Discount on Radio Disney "Surprise Calls"
• Discounts on rentals fromNational and Alamo

If I buy APs at the Disney Store, would I get double or triple rewards? Or are APs excluded???

Other than the pin at the beginning, not much has been offered. The room discounts are the same as AAA when we asked. And no you do not get double or trible rewards. The rewards are very slow to accrue in my opinion.
