My DD does not want to do the traditional college route, although she is very interested in pursuing some type of degree in the hospitality field.
My question is this...there are a variety of online college programs - University of Phoenix, Strayer, etc - but do those online programs qualify you to be considered for the WDW college program?

Thanks!

Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but if you're doing online classes and technically 'enrolled' somewhere it does count?

The specific requirement posted on the Disney College Program website states:

"Students must be currently enrolled and taking classes in an accredited college or university in the United States and have completed at least one semester."

University of Phoenix and most other similar online programs are accredited and therefore are acceptable! Usually you can find out if an institution is accredited by looking at their "about us" or "more information" pages! If you cannot find anything, just shoot them an email or a phone call just to be sure!

I'm currently enrolled in a community college taking all online classes, and I've been accepted to the Spring Advantage 2013 program! So just because you are enrolled in an online program doesn't mean you can't participate!

Hope it helps! :)
