What type of coffee machine?

Hi,
We leave for Aulani tomorrow! We are getting a villa with friends who are VERY into coffee and they want to know what type of coffee machine the rooms have. We are getting a 2-bedroom villa. Do we need filters? If we bring ground coffee, will we be good?

It's a Mr. Coffee and the one we had didn't work well (not sure if it was broken or that's how Mr. Coffee works, but it would only spray water in one area of the basket and the resulting cup was horrible. We went and tried the coffee at Ulu and it was surprisingly good so we bought the refill cups and just drank the resort coffee. FWIW, we never drank resort or DCL coffees, we always bring our own coffee and filters to the resorts and buy coffee at coffee bar on DCL.

Thanks for the responses! Sounds like our friends will be bringing coffee now that they know We did enjoy the coffee at the cafe across the street, but that adds up.
