I'm a professional photographer and don't take my DSLR and multiple lenses or external flash, etc. It's too much for me to carry all day... and I don't want to miss the excitement with the kids by changing a lens, or changing my settings. I use a pocket point and shoot at Disney, and it works like a charm. It's light weight and easy to carry. The pics still look gorgeous, and even though they are not "RAW" photos, I can convert a JPEG to a RAW if I really wanted to. But the pics turn out really great. They make so many nice point and shoots these days, with great resolution and zoom.
