Our disney trip is mid June and I'm looking for a bag to carry with me at the park for sunscreen and other necessities. Have you found a bag that work well?

Thanks!

My mom usually brings an average sized backpack with all the necessitees we need for a day in the parks. In it she carries her purse, water, a camera, and anything else we might need, so it's pretty big and perfect for bringing to the parks. If you're not thinking of bringing a ton of things with you into the parks, then get a small sized backpack like this.

My mom sometimes uses a small one if we're not bringing a lot into the parks.

It was suggested on here.... I got both and then my DH used one for snacks and I used the bigger one for my camera bag and to tie jackets around.....

AmeriBag - Healthy Back Bag ® Distressed Nylon Small

and the Overland Equipment - Donner Shoulder Bag

they were both worn as cross body bags and were comfy for all day. You probably need only one...the Donner is smaller and would probably suit your purpose.

I use a Vera Bradley backpack purse. It's cloth, so it's light and easy to carry. It hold my cameras, phone, snacks and $/cards. I love it!

I'm on the hunt for a small bag for the park as well.
I love that example! Where did you find that backpack?

I use a cross body bag and the husband uses a backpack. But we are still traveling with little ones so I throw in diapers, wipes, etc..

A CamelBak w/o the water bladder. They have plenty of padding, supportive straps, and come in many different sizes depending on how much you need to cary.

I used a Baggalini Messanger bag. I had seen them recommended for Disney in several places. I think if I were taller it would have been perfect, unfortunately it just didn't fit me right and did cause a sore shoulder, fortunately I got a neutral color and my husband helped ;) They have excellent reviews and it really is the perfect set up, so many pockets and places for things, it fits a ton more than it looks like it can hold.

I'm constantly promoting this bag on the boards but I really love the Patagonia Atom and Sling bags. (I own them both at this point.) They are small and light but fit a lot of stuff and keep our gear dry during Florida showers. I also love that with a cross body bag, I can simply swing it to the front of my body to get onto most rides vs. removing it as I would with a backpack. I have disc issues in my lower back and these bags have both beed extremely comfortable for all-day wear in the parks.

I used that bag on one of my trips but ended up hating it. I loved all the storage but it just wasn't cofortable.
I just use a LeSportsac hobo style. It has a nice wide strap and its very lightweight. It doesn't have a ton of pockets but it has a zippered area on the outside that is useful.

We usually bring a backpack that holds most necessities, a thermal bag for drinks/snacks and if a long day a smaller bag with extra clothes.

It's funny, but ask the same question on a UK travel board, and 99% will say Kipling! My two most recent Kipling bags were bought in the outlet store at Premium Outlets on Vineland, but I have dozens of them!

The bag I use on holiday is the one I bought in the outlet in 2013: I use it as a camera bag for my bridge camera, as well as carrying purse, tickets, car keys, tissues, inhaler, etc. It's big enough to carry a bottle of water or something in it and, at a pinch, my rain poncho. However, it's OH's job to carry most of the weight in a backpack. Next year I'm bringing out a bag which will fit over the back of the scooter seat, and we'll be using that as the main recepticle for drinks etc.

This one: http://www.amazon.com/Baggallini-Messenger-Crossbody-Organizer-Shoulder/dp/B00IS97WBU/ref=sr_1_32?s=shoes&ie=UTF8&qid=1399316254&sr=1-32&keywords=baggallini+crossbody

I found mine in bright green at my local Ross store, which is like Marshalls or TJMaxx, for $24.99. It fit plenty of stuff (water bottle, ids, camera, phone, snacks and even wipes and some diapers for my youngest), love the material because it didn't get "hot" in the sun like some bags do, and had no problem wearing it on every ride I went on.

They also sell a smaller one ("accomplice", I think) that looks identical but is a bit smaller, if you don't need as much space.

Since we travel in August, a water resistant bag is imperative! I used to carry a Vera hipster, but on our first August rainstorm I was in a panic about my camera and camcorder that were inside.

I bought one of the LeSportsac small world cross body bags a couple of years ago, and love it! It holds everything I want it to, and resists the rain. I have found backpacks to just be too hot in August, and love that a cross body feels so much cooler.

Good luck!
