...then I saw it yesterday again and I was ROTFL!

The one for a DSL service, where the installer just finished the installation, and the couple are standing there thanking him. The wife gives the installer a big hug, and keeps hugging him really long, and the DH is giving the installer the eye as if to say, "Hey watch it, that's my wife".
Then the wife finishes the hug, embarrassingly, and then the DH grabs the installer and hugs him -- like he was upset that the wife took up too much "hugging" time!

My favorite commercial is for a cell phone (I think) and it always makes me smile just before I cry. It's the one where the parents are dropping their son off at college and Dolly Parton's "I'll Always Love You" is playing in the background. Anyway, the mom starts reminicsing over her son's life from the time he was a baby to the day that they are at now... it's a heart-breaker!

Oh, Erin! That is also a favorite of mine. In fact, I have to MUTE the TV when that comes on because I can't even listen to it without crying! My DD will be leaving for college next year and it hits too close to home. That part where he comes up behind her and kisses her on the neck -- OK, I'm at work now and I can't cry!!!

My other favorite, that's a couple of years old, is for Visa. A man is sitting in a chair in a bridal boutique and he starts thinking about his daughter growing up. The camera cuts to the daughter standing in front of him in a wedding gown and then to him paying for the dress. As he's doing that, he looks back at the dress and sees his daughter as a little girl again. The grown daughter looks at him, wondering what he's thinking about, and says, "Daddy?"... It gets me EVERY TIME!!!

Great thread! I love most of the ones that have been posted, although I haven't seen any of the NASCAR ones -- maybe they don't play them in my area.

Another one that makes me laugh is for some kind of SUV, although I don't remember which one. The song playing through it is a real "rugged" sounding "Western" song... "Singing hi, hi ho! And his name is Eddie Blodgett... Singing hi hi ho! He's a software engineer..." etc. It just cracks me up, 'cause it's basically making fun of the fact that most SUVs never get used off-road -- they're all "On the trail.........to the warehouse store!"

BTW, in case the Tag Fairies are following this thread, I think Micca's post is a tag waiting to happen!!!!

I am LOL here.. you have all mentioned some of the funniest gags on the tv.. too bad Easter is over... I shall MISS those Toys'R Us BUNNIES.. my kids turned up the tv everytime they were on.. just for mom!!

but my absolute favorite at the moment is

BOOST CELL PHONE SERVICE

OMG.. I fall out every time I see the geriatric set with the cell phones using TEEN SPEAK.. at the end it says that "using the old people is just funnier!" which it is.. I crack up everytime I see it.. love the Black grandma's 'getting their FREAK ON!" and the newest one with the Asian grampa discussing his "ride"...

It is truly CREATIVE ADVERTISING!!!!
