For me, it's "puter" for computer and "rents" for parents! :badpc:

Oh, and "peeps" (not the marshmallow kind), annoys me too.

I despise it when I hear someone call another person a "baby momma" or "baby daddy". Those phrases make me see RED.

bling

grill

ho

pimpdaddy

"went missing" or "gone missing". The person is just plain MISSING. Not "GONE missing" or "WENT missing".

Heard this one on HGTV a couple of times over the weekend---glammy sets my teeth on edge.

I'll have to third "My Bad."

It makes me cringe when normally mature intelligent people use it.

So, if I were to say
"My bad. I broke meh glammy grill when meh pimpdaddy and his baby momma came to see the 'rents" you all would just cringe! Word. ;)

HOT

No that shirt is not HOT--Yes that guy is HOT--No that car isn't hot(unless it's been sitting in the sun all day)--No those shoes aren't HOT....Even my DD8 is saying it and I'm ready to strangle her!!LOL!!

Baby bump, grilles, preggo/preggers, pimp cup... I also hate peeps, unless I can eat them!

I agree 100% about preggo.. you are pregnant, you are not preggo. Preggo is a pasta sauce that has been spelled wrong. It has nothing to do with your upcoming bundle of joy, unless of course you are craving it!

Another vote for "My Bad" :headache:.

I also don't like to hear "How________ is that??" when someone is just saying how neat or cool or whatever something is, and is not really asking a question. That bugs the heck out of me. I like her okay, but Rachel Ray says that all the time.

I also don't like to hear that something "Makes it pop" to mean "to stand out". Like "Those glasses on your face really pop." Or "Those glasses make your face pop." Or however it is they say it.

I can't stand the fact that "pimp" has become an acceptable and positive(!) term :sad2: .

And it's been around for ages, but I still have no clue what "phat" means :confused3.

Baby momma and baby daddy- ugh!

When people use the word probably and spell it prolly. Because is cuz, ask is axs- I think it is more of a pronounciation thing.

Ain't is not a good word either. Bad grammar makes me nuts! :furious: :furious: :furious:
