What treat do you miss that Disney used to have?

Bread bowls for the chowder at CHH. *sigh*

I remember those little oranges too! :teeth:

I remember the orange and grape juice containers!!

I'm crying about the chicket sartay, the bread bowls at CHH, and the cinnamon rolls at AK. I used to sneak out for early entry just to eat a cinnamon roll because my family cant rise as early as I so we rarely eat breakfast items in the parks.

Thanks for all the replies!!

All I can think of is a main course-it was the chicken caesar salad that used to be at CRT for lunch, before it changed to a character meal.

When my family visited in the 70's and early 80's they used to sell plastic oranges with orange juice by the Tiki Room. You got a little straw that you stuck through a hole in the green lid. The orange juice was so good!! I also had my picture taken with the Florida Orange there as well.

Oh! You just brought back such a wonderful childhood memory. I used to love getting those.

:Pinkbounc The orange-shaped orange juices were the first thing I thought of!! I was afraid I was dating myself -- but I see that many of you still remember them too! :rotfl:

Me and my best friend were just talking about these the other day while reminiscing. I miss them!!

Wow - I had COMPLETELY forgotten about those! All came rushing back! LOL! I remember getting those every trip.

In the summer of either 1988 or 1989, they used to have a stand in Fantasyland that sold sugar and cinnamon dipped bagels. They were wonderful. I had them a couple of times during that trip. Sadly, they were not there the next time we visited. :rolleyes2

i miss the old fashioned mickey bars! :earboy2:
when i was young, i'd always get a mickey bar at WDW or disneyland. they were mickey's farmiliar silouette, vanilla ice cream with chocolate ice cream eyes & mouth, and hard chocolate coating on the ears. on a trip in the mid-90's, however, i was shocked to find that the mickey heads were now completely coated in a hard chocolate shell :mickeybar don't get me wrong, i still get at least one each trip, but i liked em best the old way!

Another vote for the old mickey bars.

Ohhh, you just rocked my world--when I was little my grandparents went to WDW every year with my cousins (I'm sure my cousins parents paid for my cousins, but at the time I really felt left out). My DH finally took me when I was 25 in 1992 One year my grandparents bought me back this plastic orange sippy cup! I thought this was the greatest thing--now I know it was probably just my cousins garbage! :sad1:

I miss the Chicken Miori (bad spelling?) sandwich at the old Coral Isle Cafe at the Poly. And I too miss the little plastic oranges. So cute.

I second the pink lemonade bars with wax coating! Yum!

Oh, and for a while in the early '90's they had ice cream bon bons at all the carts---little bites of ice cream covered in chocolate in a box.

I remember some kind of purple punch we used to get in Adventureland back in the 70s - this sounds crazy, but I really think I remember some plastic flowers floating in it. Does anyone else remember that?

I miss the Handwiches that I know for sure they used to have at the food court at the Land. We had them in the early 90's on several trips. I thought they were so yummy and such a cool idea. They hada few types but i always got a cheese steak. Yummy..
