What toy was a hit with the kids??

Another vote for Bendaroos. DS6 who has played with NOTHING but cars and video games his entire little life has spent hours and hours with these silly things. DD8 who loves all crafty stuff can't put them down. I could not believe my dad spent $20 plus shipping, but I guess they were worth it!

We had all hits in our house this year!:goodvibes DS10 and DS7 love their ipods! Santa loaded them with music and two tv shows each and they think it is the best thing! Second for them is the flip mino for DS10 and Mario Kart for the wii for ds7.

DD4's very favorite gifts are Mia and her JLY doll. She too has been sleeping with them, even though Santa brought them a bunk bed!:lmao: My mom got her the castle from WDW too and that is also among her favorite toys.

DS3 loves his R2D2 that I bought off amazon's gold box deal right before Christmas. That and the mini tramploline were last minute purchases that have turned out to be the best!

Its been a fun, happy, busy Christmas! No one has gotten out of their pajamas since Christmas, we've just been playing together!:goodvibes

Both our kids loved the Magnetix. I bought two sets with over 300 pieces and each day they have gotten it out and played with it for hours. :)

DD4: Big hits were: Bitty baby and Bitty baby stroller and a rocking chair, crib and changing table from My Twinn (they have the wooden doll furniture), a Disney Pixar project and draw, and coloring books and new crayons. She has colored almost alllll day. Littlest PetShop stuff was a big hit too.

Cinderella Castle for DD5 was a HUGE hit. She has not stopped playing with it (in fact, didn't even notice anything else under the tree for almost 45 mintues). The castle was worth every single penny, including having it shipped home!!

That was our 5 year old's favorite too. I am so glad I shelled out a fortune for that amazing toy! Our 9 year old loves his guitar hero. I was told it was "too complex" for me. I love the fact that 9 year olds know everything. :thumbsup2

DD9's favorites are her Kit doll and a Hannah Montana dry erase board.

DS7's favorite gifts were a stuffed opossum and a stuffed okapi. :confused3 (Ok, he really likes animals and wants to work at AK someday.)

DS2's favorite gifts are all of his cars & trucks, and the book "Sheep on a Ship".

Our oldest loves his long board (skateboard) and his Bakugon. My middle son got an electric guitar and amp for his big gift which was a huge hit. His b-day was on the 21st and he got Mario Kart for the Wii for that. He loves it.
They got Guitar Hero World Tour for Xmas also and I don't think that has hardly been off at all since they opened it!

Our daughter got Mia and her starter set. She is beyond thrilled with her. She has gone everywhere with us and she sleeps with DD each night. She also got the Girl Gourmet Cupcake Maker and that was a hit. The Littlest Pet Shop DS game we got her has also been a favorite.

All three got new Uggs and they have not taken them off, lol.

They have told us quite a few times that this was the best Xmas ever.:lovestruc

we got the kids for the playstation2 the Buzz jr game, they play it all the time. DH and I like it too! it is a blast the game we got was with four monkeys in the jungle and they play diffrent games. The best part is that it can be for 1 to 4 players and it came with the controllers for $29.

Bendaroos were a huge hit at our house too with DD. I'm so glad 'Santa' decided to stop at Walgreens and pick some up. This may be her last year of believing so I'm glad I got what she really wanted.
For DS its probably his MarioKart game with steering wheel for Wii.
For me, probably my George Foreman grill. I grinned like a loon when I opened it. I can't wait to get it home & try it.

I think the biggest hit was the Step2 Extreme Coaster my parents got my boys (ages 2 and 5). The smiles on both of their faces were priceless and they have been playing on it all weekend.

Individually:

DS2 - Radio Flyer Turbo Turtle & Radio Flyer Coupe

DS5 - Powerwing Scooter, Bakugan, Roller Racer, Gigaball, Ben 10 Car, Iron Man figure - he's really been into pretty much everything!

The bunkbeds Santa snuck in their room have been a big hit too. DS5 disappears and we find him on the top bunk playing with his action figures. DS2 has to show his bed to everyone and throws a fit to sleep in it instead of his crib at night.

Both our kids loved the Magnetix. I bought two sets with over 300 pieces and each day they have gotten it out and played with it for hours. :)

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but every time I see or hear Magnetix my heart drops. Please be very careful with them. My son, 7 at the time, choked on one of the silver balls and my DH had to perform the Heimlich (I was not home at the time). My DH still cries if I mention this- it traumatized him.

When relaying this story to a friend of mine, the EXACT same thing happened to her son. Please be careful.

We got the Wii as our family gift and I got my wife the Wii fit for her b-day. It's been since xmas and Wii fit has me very sore but we're having fun with it.

My son, 2.5, loves his Diego rescue train.

Well, being that DS is only 2 he got lots of toys from Mom and Dad, Santa and relatives. He has played with most of them pretty often in the last few days. Some of the hits:

Dirt Devil play vacuum from the Target cheapo toys section. First toy he picks up and he uses it a LOT through out the day. He even has to "park" it next to Mommy's vacuum in the closet.

Cheap battery powered cars that run on this little plastic track. There is a belt that pulls them up a hill and then the circle down the track to the bottom and get pulled back up to the top again. There are three tiny cars on the track. It is so stupid and mind numbingly boring but he will spend 15-20 minutes at a time watching it. My aunt picked it up at the KB Toys clearance for him. 2nd thing he goes for each day.

He also really likes Spike the dinosaur (we are constantly recharging that thing), Disney DVD bingo, Hess truck (but that is staying at Grandmom's house) and his new CARS.

I am disappointed that he hasn't shown more interest in his Imaginext pirate ship and castle or TAG reading system. I think he is still overwhelmed.

My favorite gift was my CHI flat iron. It was the only thing I really asked for besides new clothes for work.

We had 3 big hits with our DS's. They both got Star Wars digital cameras to go with their trip to WDW. The cameras each hold about 93 pics, and I have had to dump the memory every night since they got them. Then of course they were super excited about the WDW trip. Lastly was something that I though they would like, but it was just for their stockings. It was beef jerky. My DS10 was so excited that he hugged it as he rolled on the floor in excitement with it.

Oh, and I forgot to add that DS got new snow boots for Christmas from Grandmom. He wears them all day long. He refuses to take them off. It was 65 degrees yesterday! I finally convinced him this morning to put sneakers on for daycare......:lmao:

My DD1 is still making her way through her toys, but her favorites are Handy Manny's talking toolbox, her Mickey Mouse clubhouse, her keyboard with microphone and her legos. I'm having so much fun playing with her now that we have something new :goodvibes

My DD 3 loves her Leap Frog Tag system and the book "Oliva" and "Click Clack Moo" and My little ponies

DS (2 1/2) - Shake N Go Crash track

DD (7 1/2) - Biscuit, My Furreal Lovin' Pup (I promised myself I wouldn't cave, but the kid launched a full on CAMPAIGN that started months ago!)

Big hits this year for our 2 year old Malea was
Tricycle and helmet-from Grandpa
Doodle pro- she has LOVED this
Mr Potato head (mommy doesn't like it since it ahs 80 pieces but she loves it)
Elmo Live- she loved this every time we went into Target so we had to get it for her.
Memory game- she can't really play the game the right way but she has had so much fun with it and "doing it her way"

DS7 -- R2D2 robot -- so much fun! and some new Wii games

DS4-- Spike the Dinosaur -- very cute!
